Decided to boot up Spore after years of it sitting on my PC game rack.

I'm think that the Phantom Pain is getting absolutely INSANE reviews! I expected no less from a MGS game but 8 10/10's in a row is impressive! Especially with IGN and Gamespot being two of them.
I know sweetie! It is very frustrating but I am definitely trying to keep the faith. It's hard but it's literally the only thing keeping me together at this point.

Ha! My dad thinks I'll wait until December 1st to put the Christmas decorations up. If you leave me home alone between November 12th to the time you plan to put the decorations up, you'll end up coming home to decorations everywhere. Last year my mom came home from work to find the tree up, decorations and lights everywhere, Christmas music on, and homemade nanaimo bars being made.

I think anytime after the 15th November is okay to put up decor for Christmas.
Hearing Christmas songs and seeing decor before that is a bit silly in my opinion.

CT: Christmas talk in August? Decorations from November? I'm used to see Christmas themes and decorations in shops from November, but not in homes until just before Christmas.

It's funny how much your perception of something or someone changes and matures in the course of a decade. I remember watching both the show and the movie of Phantom of the Opera about 10 years ago and thinking that Christine was totally stupid for choosing Raoul over the Phantom. And I just re-watched it again - this time paying close attention to what was going on - and man, was I ever super wrong. The Phantom murders people, extorts money from the opera house owners, brainwashes a teenager into believing he's the spirit of her dead father and then tries to seduce her and threatens to kill her lover if she doesn't stay with him. Raoul's only sin is that he's a bit the generic Prince Charming and that's boring in comparison. But it sure is tons healthier.

CT: Just came home from the optician, she said my eyesight has worsened by an entire dioptre within the last few years. Makes me wonder how the eye "specialist" who recently told me that nothing has changed got his licence. I guess it's time to start wearing those glasses after all... ugh! I already look like a stern teacher as it is. I don't want to make it even worse by wearing glasses! *throws herself to the ground and starts whining and kicking like a toddler*
