I've been most delighted to hear that the remaining members of Linkin Park are holding a special tribute show to honor Chester Bennington this Friday @ the Hollywood Bowl.

The line-up of artists scheduled to perform at the event are as follows:

I wish I could be there. Hybrid Theory was one of my favorite albums growing up, I'm not ashamed to admit I played the sh!t out of that CD back in middle school. Hell, I still remember their first unreleased single, My December, such a beautiful song and voice. I can't help but tear up now every time I hear it.

CT1: I'm so hyped for Friday. Going to a huge Halloween party with a friend and The Offspring will be there playing live! I'm some freaking pumped. Got my costume and ready to hit the floor


CT2: The plot thickens. The "tATu Official" YouTube channel is trolling fans HAAAAAAAAAAAAARD today! Now fans need to know the whole meaning behind it. Is she just grieving with fans or is she involved in something larger as many fans believe. Having the trolling occur today in particular raises a lot of questions and has fans asking. Let's not even mention how the tATu Youtube channel is behaving in their choices of liking fan comments and even going out of it's way to other channels that support the notion she's riding the ruse cruise. It's certainly suspicious but it could end up being just for fun. Regardless of the reason it's ****ing hilarious!

Some (potential) breaking news: Disney is in talks for partial buyout of Fox, which would bring the X-Men/F4 to the MCU.

21st Century Fox is in talks to sell the bulk of its media assets to Disney, according to CNBC. The sale would reportedly include Fox Entertainment Group, the portion of the company which owns 20th Century Fox (and with it the rights to many films including the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises).

Should the purported negotiations lead to a sale, the business trade reports that 21st Century Fox would retain ownership of the Fox networks which Disney legally could not own since it already owns ABC, the Fox Sports networks which are a direct competitor to Disney's ESPN, and Fox News.

The obvious implication, should the sale take place, would be that Disney would then own or control nearly all of Marvel's extant film rights, allowing them to potentially bring the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the same way they incorporated Spider-Man - though they would own the rights outright, rather than sharing or licensing them, as with Sony's Spider-Man rights.

OMG, awesome news! It'll be too little, too late for MvCI and the main Avengers, though since it'll take months, if not a year+ for this sale to be finalized and Avengers 4 (the IW sequel) will have already wrapped up production by then. We already know some of the heroes will die, there's a good chance Iron Man will since RDJ is getting up there in age and was the MCU's founding member, same with Cap for obvious reasons.

I've always wanted to see Galactus as the next big bad of the MCU after Thanos, but I'm not sure how much I'd love it without the originals.

Opted for an HP Slimline, since I don't travel with my computer much anymore. My laptop would just sit on my desk connected to a monitor most of the time anyway.

Nothing cutting edge, but I have a backlog of PC games I've been neglecting, most of it at least ten years old.
