CT: Why does my brain go into overdrive at night? I feel tired, I go to bed, and then my brain is assaulted by a million tiny little thoughts, all the million things I've done/have gone wrong, or things I want to look up that bug me until I do it. It's 2.25am and I'm looking up a recipe for ginger biscuits...

I bought myself an eye mask a while ago to try and help me keep my eyes closed and get me to sleep faster. But guess what?! I realised I can just slide it upwards a little to Google whatever I'm thinking about.

Brain? Please, just stop.

Sounds like we got the same problem. Well to an extent. I've been fighting this since about 2008. It sucks hard. Some days I'm up to 7-8 am. I used to pull all nighters all the time but I don't really want to get back in that habit. Thank god for sleeping pills.

I really hope things get better for you. It's horrible *hugs*

I actually might say this to this person, so I'll just put this here...
Oh yeah, getting your violent eight year old ADHD autistic kid a rifle for his birthday was a great idea. He already likes to beat me and shoot me with toy guns, I'm sure he'll have fun shooting my head off with a real rifle.

We don't have the right to bear arms here in Canada, so this is very, very illegal. If you're gifting weapons, it can't be to someone under 18 who doesn't have a license - which he can't get anyway because he's not 18, although he can get a minor's license at 12 if he needs it to hunt and sustain his family. But eight is too young. You can call the police if you're really concerned and they will likely confiscate the firearm. ;)

Feeling a bit hurt. My best friend's boyfriend has been in town all week working on his mom's bathroom, and he only contacts me when he needs to borrow tools from my Dad's shop. I don't have Facebook so I didn't know one of our mutual friends (who I used to be very close with, but stopped talking to because I was tired of being the only person to initiate texts) was in town as well. Neither one of them texts me to invite me out to dinner with them. Given, I couldn't have come anyway because I'm helping out on a by-election two hours away, but they wouldn't have known that. It's still rude.

I hate feeling used.

Just watched the movie Silent Hill again the other night, easily the best videogame adaptation thus far. Sure things were changed but it was for the sake of a movie format- the number one thing they should have done was make the story more mysterious for the audience to figure out instead of having one entire scene walk the audience through what happened in Silent Hill and to Alyssa. But otherwise their choice in monsters and even their original monster design (the janitor) were really well thought out. Obviously some of the story and dialogue could have used some tweaking but still the respect for the game series was evident. 7/10

Silent Hill Revelation was crap however.

"Quite an experience to live in fear, isn't it?"
Staying up for 36+ hours to fix my sleeping schedule proved to be useless endeavour.
I decided I wouldn't go to sleep on Tuesday (since I go to bed at 1 AM and never fall sleep until 5:30 or 6), so I stayed up until 9:00 PM the next day and slept great! Until 2:30, where I got up for a **** AND DIDN'T FALL BACK ASLEEP UNTIL 7 AM.
When I did, I woke up at 1:30 PM. Right on schedule.

F*ck this and f*ck life.

Silent Hill Revelation 3D was honest-to-god an antithesis to all the games.
Jumpscares, flat characters, Heather timid and shy when she meets Douglas, f*cking UGH
