CT: Did we have a joke thread somewhere?

Robert for once invited his wife to theater. The woman at the ticket office asked:
- Do you wish two tickets for the usual seats?
Robert's wife stared at him and asked:
- Do you often go here?
- "No", said Robert, she must mistake me for someone else.
After the show they went to a restaurant and the waiter asked:
- Champagne as usual?
The wife got furious and yelled at Robert:
- You've got a mistress!
"Nonsense", Robert replied. But later in the taxi their arguing continued. The wife yelled and scolded her husband non stop. At a point the taxi driver got enough, turned to Robert and said:
- If that lady don't shut up, I suggest we throw her out as usual.

CT1: I really need to learn not to procrastinate. This is the second time this week that I've been up finishing some work for uni that is for assessment...

CT2: Tomorrow's assessment is a mock interview, in which I have to apply for a fictitious job role and say why I want to work there and what I can bring to the organisation. The hobbies and interests section of the CV (or resumé, if you prefer) is difficult, as I've been advised by an employability expert that it can imply the wrong thing. Socialising - I go out partying all the time. Reading - I'm boring. Video games - I'm a nerd. Why even bother advising me to put my hobbies in if so many of them get wrongly judged...?

Hmm. I've never put hobbies or interests on my resume and I've never been advised to either. The only sections on mine were Education, Employment History, Professional Certifications and Skills. Employers can (and will) look you up on the Twitter and Facebook to get a sense for you personally, so listing your hobbies is sort of irrelevant now. I'd take it off if you are able. :)

I had very similar sections to you. Unfortunately, this woman is also the one watching the interviews. I might just stick Hobbies and Interests there just for this one assessment to please her and then get rid of it once the assessment is done.

Just want to thank the mod for sticking my image in a spoiler tag. I didn't know how to use spoilers

CT: I may not have to give up on gaming after all. I recently found a way to have both operating systems (Windows 7 and my preferred Vista) on my PC at the same time. Which means I can look forward to Revelations 2 again, and I'll buy the REmaster as soon as my credit card is ready.

CT: This is kind of a creepy story...
I'm a really unlucky person. It's been four years since I was almost literally murdered by a guy that was obsessed with my family. He broke into our house a few times with a knife, tried to run me over with his truck, and killed our cat, and he thought for some reason we would like him... We got a restraining order, but he still followed us around, and he broke into our house again. We called the cops, but we lived in a really small town and the nearest cops were fifteen minutes away, but when the cops got there he was gone, and he hasn't been heard from since. I still get freaked out when I see a white truck... Sounds more like a horror movie, but it did happen.
