I think she had a drug/alcohol problem (don't remember which it was), I'm guessing that had something to do with it(?). If it was not an accident. I'll watch the news soon, maybe they say will something about it.EDIT: I just read the video description, it have a little information about her.

Yes, Whitney died yesterday in her hotel room. It didn't say what the cause of death was, although drugs certainly can't be ruled out yet. So sad.

The first five minutes of the 15 minutes long news was about Whitney Houston. She was a bigger artist than I was aware of, and I knew she was big, though I had forgot many of her hit songs. One of my favorite songs is "I wanna dance with somebody", it's a song I hear sometimes but I didn't know she's the one who sings it. They said how many awards (not just music) she's received, I think she was maybe as big as MJ was, if not a little bigger. So sad she let drugs ruin her voice, and now she's gone too.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody, How Will I Know but she's probably most famous for her cover of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You, which was the theme of the movie The Bodyguard - which she starred in with Kevin Costner. She was also in the remake of The Bishop's Wife, The Preacher's Wife - which she starred in with Denzel Washington.
