What are you thinking? (Part 2)

I woulda knocked her out 'cuz I'm a stone cold bitch. You need me to pay a visit? :p
I wanted to so badly but I didn't. My uncle is dying and I wasn't going to make a scene in his house while he's in a coma - I wasn't there for her *** anyway; she doesn't even know me. My daddy hasn't talked to her and one of his other sisters since his father died (which is partly their fault) and that happened before I was born and I don't have much use for the sister of his that I did grow up knowing so, as far as I'm concerned, I don't have any aunts on my daddy's side. Don't none of them know me and I don't care to know them.

My only guess, since when I went to my uncle's I was with my dad and when he found out she was there he stayed outside until she left, was that she had no idea who I was when she started talking **** about my mother. (Which I find hard to believe since just about everyone who knows us says that I look just like my momma.) My daddy always said that if anyone could make you want to hit them, though, she could.

CT: I don't get how people can support the GOP. This might be old news but late last year, the Republicans filibustered the Zadroga Bill. For those who don't know, the James Zadroga Bill was a health care reform for 9/11 first responders - it would provide state funded health care for the firefighters, police, and medical emergency personel who were there on 9/11 and who cleaned up Ground Zero - many of these people are developing cancer and whatnot now due to all that exposure.

So, then you might ask - why in the world would any reasonable human being be against helping the first responders of 9/11? What could possibly be more important?

Now, they didn't vote no, because there wasn't a vote (after all, that's what a filibuster is). Rather, they wanted to see the bill that would provide tax cuts to people making over $250,000/yr was passed first.

Nice ******* set of priorities you got there, douchebags. How do these people sleep at night?

I agree with you on why the hell didn't they give them the medical attention they need. It's morally and just flat out wrong that they wont help those people out. They could've had their reasons and I would LOVE to hear why they didn't vote on it. To be honest, though, I doubt I would really give two ****s about their reasoning.

As for the tax cuts thing, I can about halfway explain it. Not taxing the wealthy keeps them spending on things that people in the middle and lower class would most likely not. Having those people spending the large amounts of money on those items helps keep the economy going better than it would if they were to actually be taxed. If you keep the tax cuts, cut the OUTRAGEOUS spending that the government is doing, start producing our own goods again, and allow us to drill our own oil here in the states, the economy may start to come back. PLEASE don't quote me word for word on this, but this is just from what I understand.

I for one am totally for just one flat sales tax. Everyone pay the same as everyone else. I put in what you put in. Get rid of the IRS, they aren't even doing the job they need to do right. Did you know that 20% of the taxes we pay just comes up missing? They have NO idea where it goes or why it's missing. *ahem* That's their job.

Again, I agree with you completely on why the hell did they let that bill just pass away like that. That actually ****ed a whole bunch of people off here in the States. While it is totally muffed up and just flat out wrong, I personally can't write off the GOP. They do things that questionable and muffed, but so does the other side.

CT: I think I broke my pinky toe on my chair. It's swollen and bruised and I stand all day at work. FML

Ahhh, am just thinking how cool it is to see the Moon ride high on a clear Spring sky. I've got my window open and there is not a sound, not even a draft...Fills so much of the sky you think it's just over the mountain and you could touch it if you wanted to.....lol.....cool...Think i'll switch the desk lamp off and enjoy some of the Moonlight.

CT: My parents and my grandparents used to call me 'whippersnapper'... which, I didn't realize until two minutes ago that its inadvertly a reference to whip snapping. Wow, I'm pretty good.

Femme that title is much too unsophisticated for you. It's original meaning was of silly little boys from England who fancied themselves important yet in reality were no hopers. Although, they were rather fond of snapping the whip...thou they certainly couldn't tame a dead mouse with it.

CT: I've never thought of my parents as old, they've always looked younger than their actual age to me and others but today, my dad looked older than I think I've ever seen him look before. Lines that I never noticed were terribly apparent and he just looked completely aged...I actually felt kind of bad for him...

:( He may just be emotionally drained and that's why he looks the way he does. Stuff like that will definately take a toll on you.

I'm sorry for ya'lls loss...
It's okay - we were expecting it.

You're probably right I just...it sort of scared me, that's all.

I understand. My mom looked the same way on the day of my dad's funeral. I felt soo bad for her..it was cold too, and she wouldn't even take a jacket. She said she wanted to feel the same way my dad did...cold.

Unfortunately, I'm expecting to lose a loved one as well. My best friend's father has cancer, and isn't doing so well. He's back in the hospital, which makes this his sixth time being there. He can't keep down anything at all. It's so sad. I've known the man pretty much my whole life minus about four years.

So many people are hurting nowadays.
