So there's this person who added me on PSN a couple months ago.. don't know who he is and I've only talked to him once... he just sent me a message saying its his birthday and asking what I got him... um, a whole lotta nothing cause I don't know you?

I run through as vector
Y'know, I played as Vector for the first time ever yesterday and I understand now why he's the fan favourite. His abilities are awesome and make the game SO much easier. Bertha's still my girl but man, you can just fly through with him.

Yay for internet creepers! Making their way into our favorite video games! Oh how freaks evolve with the times! On the other hand, perhaps he meant to send it to someone he knew, maybe he clicked on your name by mistake...

Are you sure he was being serious...I hit on girls all the time as jokes...whether it be in person, or over the interwebz...But either way it's just playful banter...

I'm not posting it, but what he said to me was creepy. "Flirting" is to light a word I suppose.

So after spending a few hours in my fave place, i decided it was going to be a glorious summer after my prayers to hear the iconic scream of the Golden eagle were answered.

Soaring high above the Dam, looking out for a willing sacrifice, there she was.

Looking over her kingdom with her feathers shimmering from the sun.

Summer, has officially started.

CT: Dude, it's your mom's first Mother's Day since your Dad/ her husband died, don't leave her all by herself the entire day, that's really really mean.

LOL - you gotta love facebook for causing arguments among people. I said one thing which was just a comment rather than an invitation for debate and three people have jumped on it and said three different things which all oppose one another. Now they are ever-so-politely having a go at each other. I just said one thing - nothing controversial, nothing out of the ordinary, and now it's a major debating point.

I just need an extra opinion or two on this..

For those who don't know, I work front desk at a hotel in Ontario, and there was an issue that happened last night I'd like for a third opinion on.

I was at the desk the other night with a co-worker, it was really busy and she got a call from someone who asked if she spoke French, and then when she said no he started asking her a number of sexually charged questions - she said at one point he had asked if she wanted his **** in her mouth and her *** and he hung up right after.

We get a call a couple minutes later from this person again, this time I answer it. She told me to hang up if the person asks if we speak French, but I don't right away because I want to be sure I'm not hanging up on a legitimate customer - so I stay on the line and then suddenly someone on the other line yells 'come and see my **** little girl' and I immediately hang up the phone. It's busy and I don't have time to deal with that crap at that moment.

About two hours later, one of our coworkers and the front desk manager come in. They've been drinking a little bit and they admitted THEY were the ones who made the phone calls. The manager seemed a little ****ed off that I hung up on someone. Don't get me wrong, we're a close group of people and we joke around all the time - but I don't take that crap from customers.

I'm not going to rat on them, because I imagine they'd both get fired if ownership found out and I like them both so I don't want that to happen... but I have a creeping suspicion I might get a talking to about hanging up on people when he gets back... I guess my question is if I do, how do I mention how much trouble HE could get in for doing what he did without being disrespectful?
Your boss got some nerve, he be glad I was not in your place.

I've not worked as hotel staff but I do have education and training in customer service and I have a pretty good idea of what your job is about. You did right hanging up on him. It was the only sensible thing you could do! What are the alternatives? You letting customers wipe their shoes on you and you lose your self-respect, or you step down from your level and talk back to the douche? Ending the conversation is the best you can do. Your manager could argue that you should ask him to stop the abuse before hanging up, but there's no point in doing that because it is already clear that his intention is to harass you.

But I suspect he must have been drunk when he seemed ****ed off with you, and that he understood his mistake when he got back to his senses again.

I try to put myself in your situation. It was a very stupid prank call but that would not bother me so much. What would have made me furious was if he was angry with me for hanging up after he had sobered up.
Most people don't know I got a temper, but unfair crap from management can make me very angry and I might give them a scolding only Alzheimer's can make them forget. (I don't know if employees normally can do this in Canada, but in your case you can do whatever you think is fair because you now own him.) No one should have to take unfair criticism/treatment, and especially not from superiors.

I understand your boss is your friend and I suppose we all do tend to be far less angry and much more forgiving with friends, but at least make it clear that he is wrong and you do not accept harassment calls from anyone, not even from "customers". :)

CT: How many gorgeous women that works for BBC.
