Third RE CGI Movie is called "Resident Evil: Vendetta"; targeted for 2017 release.

It sounds like a higher pitched Roger and Matt, but i'm betting that it's new actors doing their best impressions.

Looking very entertaining, hopefully there will be some downtime where the characters can speak normally and reference past events, as you would. Also, Capcom are definitley setting up a new, long term story arc here.
 
Awesome trailer! Looks a lot more action packed than they were leading us to believe but for a Chris and Leon team up, I'm okay with that. But goddamn, not only does Chris look off they couldn't at least get Roger Craig Smith? I hope he's not done voicing the character.
 
This looks great but I feel it went over bored in revealing too much. We even see Glenn's mutation at the end. I'm wondering if there's a Red Herring and there's two main villains. Chris goes after Glenn Arias and Leon goes after the blonde. The trailer heavily suggests that Glenn Arias is running the show but who knows. There's speculation that it'll tie in to 7.

@ResidentDevil really got me thinking that the leaks could be a Red Herring, I'm quite open about it both ways. I don't trust NewsBot as I feel like he's been busted enough times to be considered a hack, but he seems to claim that the virus in RE7 and possible Vendetta is the TM virus. If this is true then it really ties in to the Resident Evil time-line in HUUUUUGE ways. Glenn Arias may have ties with Umbrella through his organization which may actually already be established in the lore. Ethan Winters may very well be the guy mentioned in RE5 and lived. There are rumors of the final boss of RE7 being
Granny Camille who is apparently named Evelyn or something. I'm wondering if the speculation of her being the true tie to the series is true and that she's actually Spencer's wife returned home. She appears to be old enough and her character was cut entirely from the series. It would be interesting to revisit a character in new eyes, but I don't think she her self is evil but has been infected for a while.

In addition there seems to be rumors of flash backs. Some people claimed to have found evidence of Lucas being playable in the game (perhaps DLC?) and some speculation that the ship scene takes place in the past. So flash backs could a thing in this game. Back in June or July a certain *ahem* actor posted selfies on Instragram showing that they are back in the studio. Though they wouldn't comment on if it was Resident Evil or not but many of the fans assume so due to the room and nudges. Either they're returning in Vendetta, RE7, or perhaps an announced game all together. Hell, maybe it's nothing and not even Resident Evil related.

I'm definitely on the side of the fence that believes that the Bakers are
"victims" and not "perpetrators"
in these events. But that's 100% speculation based on my part as pretty much this whole thing is. A train of thought for fun and I still need to check double check things to see if some of these online theories check out.

**** it, I went hard on the speculation there :P But it's all good fun and I love it ;P
 
Another Chris-Leon bitch fight? Are they like the Leonardo and Raphael of the RE franchise now? I have to say I get some "Guardians of the Galaxy" vibe from the new Antagonists. Really looking forward to watch this movie! You can tell that we have a different team working on this movie and it seems like that the story is a little bit more complex this time and we will see a bunch of new locations. But I don't hear Roger Craig Smith nor Matthew Mercer out of this. Both Chris and Leon just sound different to me. Like fresh grown ups trying to act like guys in their 40's.

Btw, I love that they used Leon's Sentinel Nine in the movie. It's the pistol Tokio Marui sold as a limited edition airsoft gun for Resident Evil 6. So epic!
 
Looks like a cheese fest like the other movies- but I'll watch it for Chris. :>

It's annoying how Rebecca hasn't aged and is in pretty much the exact same uniform.

Huge freakin' Tyrants!

...presuming that's what that thing was at the end.
