Hey whats Everyone's fav character in the Mercs Reunion?

Hey, first post =D
got resi evil 5 abouts 8 weeks ago and played it on solo till marshlands then I got stuck (killing 2 big guys with masks) Then friend came and we did it easier, on normal (was playing it on amateur before he arrived) We completed it and unlocked mercenaries.
Now, on to topic bout mercenaries. I am not very good at it. I have a good course to get to all the time bonusses, I use the combo multipliers when there are plenty of enemies around etc. I also use the starting chris but I plan to use Jill... I just can't seem to get an A, I have looked through lots of guides and have tried just using the ithaca (chucking the handgun away) and my highscore was 32k I can't get any higher, (well I got 37k but died and now can't get that high) any tips for a noobie please?

If your online I'd say try and play Duo mode with someone from this forum lol if you cant play online then keep trying with Chris. I ditch the M9 when I use Chris I prefer the shotgun lol

40k unlocks the A rank.always kill the executioners because they give you lots of points and use meelee attacks because they give you an extra five seconds which isnt alot but if you keep doing it, it will count in the end.and try to get a big combo of kills because it gets you more points
lol, between now and my old post, well, I tried again with Chris and managed to get 42k, =D just had a try with Jill and got 22k, couldn't take the dam executioner out as her though.

nice job, solo as Shev, the highest I got solo was 106,000 as midnight wesker. How are people netting up in the 700,000 score though?
I`ve just got in public stage new score,solo 610,874 Wesker Midnight,and missile area solo Midnight 471,528.
well once i played with a japanese guy he was in the very top of the leaderboards cause i rememberd his name plant 42 i think...anyways i looked at his ammo couunt and ( this is on xboox 360 ) he had unlimited ammo...no joke he must have hacked it or something so thats how most people get good scores.

That would kill your score. If I had infinite ammo for a hydra, I wouldn't be able to get that high a score because of two things: the melee time +5 sec won't help your score and boost when you kill all 150 and they simply don't spawn that fast. I've wiped out hordes in a few shots (which is the only time-efficient manner for making up for not using melees) and they stop spawning for several seconds because they've all been wiped out. Watch the Rebecca gameplay I posted a link to. That'll give you guys an idea of how they get scores that high. Tha people have scores of 800,000 and above doesn't surprise me. I do recommend certain characters over others, however. Wesker's good, Rebecca's good, Barry's good, anyone with a handgun and a powerful basic melee is good. BSAA Jill is terrible for getting anything above 400,000. Good luck and God bless. Heavy metal Chris is terrible. Getting the pattern, here?
