    Also, what I really hate is when I know some people for a long time and I start to discover that we can't get along together but I can't say to them because I fear that I will hurt them. So, most of the time we'll continue being friends and it's like hell for me.

    Shyness can bring us to most unpleseant situations but, yeah saying it from the beginning seems to work better.

    I agree, we don't need to worry that much about. We'll find ways to counter it. :)

    3rd year of secondary school(me 14 years old). There was this girl one year younger than me who was looking at me all the time and she would always smile at me.Well.. she ended up with another guy because I didn't talk to her until next year. That next year she kept dating other guys because I would only tell her a simple "hi" and not everytime I saw her. Until my graduation day we wouldn't talk much, plus she was always laughing with her friends whenever I was passing by.

    5th grade of high school. There was this girl one year older than me. I really liked her and I would think of her all the time. I knew she liked me as well but I was feeling REALLY uncomfortable whenever I was near her to the point that I couldn't say a word. By the time her graduation day arrived she had snogged with another guy because she couldn't wait for me so long I guess. Since then i never saw her again. BAH!

    6th grade of high school. Another girl who was one year younger than me. That one would even kiss another guy in front of me so that I would notice her. Thing is I still was too shy and I didn't like these kind of tricks.

    Well, my shyness isn't just with girls, but with whatever I have to meet for a first time, although I've managed to shorten it a bit with the rest things, aside girls.

    Sorry if I tired you. I just wanted to say it to someone. :)

    There's absolutely no problem with being shy, sometimes being out going just takes time. ;)

    Aww, you can't look at it that way. You might be shy but striking up a conversation with someone is easy, especially over the internet. Just look around the boards, find someone who feels the same way you do on a few topics, look over their profile to see if you have anything in common and then just take the plunge. :D

    Besides, from where I'm sitting, you're doing just fine. ;)

    I'm fine thanks. How about yourself? How is it where you live - do you have spring soon? It's getting considerably less cold here but we get more and more snow, soon we'll be stuck beneath it lol.
