CT: Wow. That was unexpected.

Just got a phone call - it was a telephone interview for an animal charity I applied for. I passed and now I have to attend an assessment centre on Thursday. It consists of a group task, a presentation, a competency based interview and a tour of the building. I find out on the day if I get the job.

Yikes. Nerves kicking in.

So apparently Tilikum is on his way out. Oh, but it's ok, because SeaWorld are "giving him the best care".

Uh huh. Like you have done for the last 30-odd years, yes?

Riiiiiiiight...

On his way out? Wait what's happening I haven't been following cetacean news in forever. Is he dying or is he being placed in a sea pan or??

EDIT: nevermind I just read some articles and it seems he has some bacterial infection in his lungs, meaning he's dying I guess. Well, that's what you get for placing a huge marine apex predator that evolved to roam entire oceans in a concrete tank filled with chlorine that's only twice/three times bigger than the pools of most all-inclusive hotels! The entire thing is sickening, honestly...

Gawd you know when your mind is clouded and really hazy and nothing makes any sense? Well that's my day.

I'm thinking about so much that it's suffocating my brain.

Man up, dude. That was sad.

Ya know my dear...I really don't understand why some people find a problem with you. Reading words on a screen often misconstrues the poster's intentions and the general mood of the poster's words and I've seen it happen to you one time too many. You've always been a kind, caring person but you know when to switch it off and be a moderator. You take your position here seriously and that's the way it should be. You and Romero are the first mods I've seen that don't use their status as a moderator to bully others.

I felt like that needed to be said. We appreciate the both of you more than you two will ever know. And I think the majority of this forum would agree with me.
