Sounds like it might be going somewhere.

Yeah, it does doesn't it? I've been thinking about it now that I've gotten some sleep and can think clearly. I think you may be right. We used to just fist bump when we would say goodbye at the end of the day, until the day that he gave me a ride to the grocery store and then took me home. He helped with the groceries and then gave me a hug...and said he'd see me the next day. Aanndd yesterday we were joking around at the office...he kissed his finger and held it out. Without even hesitating, I kissed my finger and pressed it against his. I dunno, we do silly things like that just to get reactions out of people.

Oh Tremor that sounds so cute. It makes me happy to hear it. :)

:) thanks love. I'm not even going to talk to him about it because it really doesn't matter whether we remain friends or become more than that. I'm just enjoying life a little more since he's been around. So I guess my job isn't ALL bad lol. Atleast I'm entertained by his unique sense of humor five days a week

Good luck Tremz! Hope it works out for you! XOXOXOXO

CT: I really think social media has cheapened traditional activism. It's so sad that we are becoming a society of 'selfie activism'. Raising awareness by taking a picture of yourself next to a piece of paper is literally the least you can do for anything. It can never replace or substitute actual volunteerism.

Case in point - this whole 'Women Against Feminism' thing. If men's liberation is something that's important to you - then go to a male shelter and help out instead of posting pictures of yourself saying stupid, asinine things like 'I don't need feminism because the world would suck without men' (yeah, no **** Sherlock - the human race would die out real fast without men). Just last month I spent some time volunteering at a male shelter that housed and fed men with severe mental illnesses. The experience really tore me up - it was hugely upsetting. I highly doubt any of these pretty young entitled girls with their duck face selfies and their signs have seen first hand what I saw there. I highly doubt it.

If you're going to be part of a social movement, be for something. If you are against something, you stand for nothing.

Okay, really, I just hate when people take selfies and think they've changed the world.

CT 2: I miss Michael Jackson.

"Quite an experience to live in fear, isn't it?"
I'll probably be watching my DVD of the 1990 movie when Michael Bay pinches out his latest turd.

"Become hotter than"? "Looked better than".

"Looked better than" doesn't fit... Also, it depends on how you want to take the word "hotter." Anyway, I didn't make the meme but it gets the point across. Any Ninja Turtle fan who likes this terrible reboot has no standards.

I'll be honest, I'm giving it a chance. I mean...I think it's gonna suck...But I still have to give it a chance before I can TRULY judge it.

I don't have to see it to know that it's gonna have tons of absurd action sequences and be filled with lots of lolz funnys. It's called TMNT yet it's not TMNT therefore it sucks. The Turtles are atrocious, Hulk-sized, abominations that ****ter the ground below them, flip over and punch through vehicles, and can apparently take and superhumanly deflect rapid gunfire... Honestly, I feel bad for Shredder who btw, looks like a transformer. Also, Megan Fox is a terrible actress and the Michael Bay influence is strong. Watching it isn't going to make any of this better for me and it won't change my view of it. What's worse, is that I know the casual audience is going to eat this crap up the same way they did Transformers. I hate this generation.

..But it IS the turtles...Nearly EVERY incarnation of the turtles has ALWAYS been different. Hell, the 80's cartoon that everyone is SO fond of (Myself included) and say is the "Original" is NOTHING like the original, which was a dark, gritty, black and white comic book. Both are vastly different from the 90's movies, which are vastly different from the 2003 cartoon. We can't say this "Isn't Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" when EVERY incarnation is so VASTLY different. They aren't Hulk sized, that's an exaggeration. They're big, yes, but and being able to deflect gunfire has been shown in other versions of TMNT as well...Yes, they look AWFUL. They truly do. But really, that's it. Everything else is pretty similar to stuff we've seen in other Turtles media, be it the original dark comic books, the cheesy 80's comedies, the action oriented 90's movies, or the darker cartoon of the early 2000's. There isn't a "Casual" audience for this. TMNT has been a staple in Pop culture since 19887, therefore nearly EVERYONE is part of it's audience. Everyone is going to go see it (Myself included), see if it's good, and either universally hate it, or, turn out that is' NOT so bad, and everyone just hates it because they look like sh*t. Which they do. But that shouldn't be the ONLY reason to hate it. As far as Shredder goes, he looks no different than the Super Shredder in the second live action movie, or one of the MANY Shredders that existed in the alternate dimensions of the 2003 Turtles universe.

Did I really just get asked why I'm dating someone who's about ten years older than me? I'm not dating him but okay. I'm a grown woman. I can date someone in their thirties if I want to.

You don't need to give me a lesson on TMNT history, I know it all too well. Also, every TMNT incarnation that matters has had a common ground when it comes to story telling and character design. There are two popular incarnations of the TMNT story and those are the original comic book and the 1987 animated series which both played a part in defining the TMNT's legacy. With that said, don't try to pass this off as a legitimate universe within the TMNT franchise, it's just a movie adaptation like the original before it, except worse. So for reasons mentioned before, no this is not the TMNT, just a buttf*cking of it. Watching this movie will only confirm what I've been saying about this as has critical response.

...You really couldn't contest any of my points without it being personal bias/opinion...

...There's nothing wrong with that lol. My father was ten years older than my mother...Yeah, that relationship crashed and burned, but not because of age! XD

What points? Telling me I'm exaggerating like it makes anything better? Telling me there are different universes of TMNT like it justifies this horrible adaptation? Telling me there's no such thing as a casual audience for this movie? Make an argument first and get a clue before you try backing out calling people biased when the most biased guy on this site is you...

CT: Nauseous, can't sleep and wondering how the hell I forgot the url to this site. Oh well, a concussion will do that to you. Also this damn scar on my abdomen stings, I'm grumpy and want to get back onto a regular sleep pattern. Am I making sense? It's nearly four in the morning here and even the tea isn't helping my mood. I keep going back to the what ifs of the night I almost died.

What if I would have let my friend drive herself that night...
What if I would have punched her in the goddamn face for causing this.
What if What if What if.

You can't fix what's already been done.
