CT: It's not just men who commit crazy grisly crimes. Women can do that too.

In Sweden, one woman is on trial for murdering her husband with a knife.

In Norway, two women are on trial for murdering the husband to one of them. The wife talked her muscular female logger friend into killing him in his sleep. They picked her sharpest ax for the job, slayed him, carried him into the forest and dumped him. The man was apparently a douchebag and according to their defense they killed him as an act of proactive self-defense.

PMS is a scary thing. No, they don't use it as excuse in either of the two cases AFAIK, I just happen to randomly be thinking it.

CT: I'm thinking its time for an avi/signature change, only, I don't know what to change it to and I feel as if Glinda is part of my identity so I can't change it now. Hmmm...

The good witch will always be a part of you even if it is not always readily shown, besides a little reinvention from time to time does us good.

I know, I've got to ch ch ch change, I just dunno what to!
You've had a long string of good avatars and sigs, but Monroe is the best IMO. It's a classic. There's no rule saying you can't use an old one?
Marilyn was in the news recently, not sure if it was her birthday or if it was X years since she died. Either way, it reminded me of you because you used to be Femilyn. :)

Why does everything new have to be "The New..." something else? Is it really that hard to judge something on it's own merits, regardless of similarities without drawing comparison?

Wow..it's been twelve years since I've seen my uncle and he's finally out of prison. I can't wait to see him. He may make terrible choices but I love him lol.

How was that an "outrageous ban"? That was pretty tame, for me. I could have strung it out and made an example of the guy but I'm old, I'm tired and his attitude was getting on my nerves. Tell you what, keep up with the snotty PMs and I may just save up a real "outrageous ban" just for you, sweetie...

I'm thinking about two quotes.

This is a quote from a newspaper ad, Yorkshire Evening Post, 1992. It was near the end of the football season. Ad:
"Man offers marriage proposal to any woman with ticket for Leeds vs Sheffield United game. Must send photograph (of ticket)."

The second quote is of Churchill:
"Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy."

CT: Funny how when I'm single no one talks to me... but once I'm dating someone everyone comes out of the woodworks, including people I haven't spoken to in years. What the hell man?

Playing guitar is painful. I've played until the strings were covered in blood for a week, and my fingers haven't callused yet. I think I'm going to get a keyboard next.
I'll never forget the first time I played until my fingers bled... I felt such accomplishment! You definitely won't have that problem/badge of honor with a keyboard, but it's just as rewarding an instrument, I believe. Either way, kudos to you!
