No poor enemy AI here, whoever said that has obviously not played the game.

Haha exactly. Playing through with a A.I squad will be hell. You'll definitely want two people or a full party of players with mics.

When you play with all four people, is it online only, or can you have four manned controllers...I've noticed a lot of games are only 2-player unless you have internet...

You mean you can't even play two player multiplayer with someone else in the same room...What a damned crock...Oh well, I'm still gonna enjoy it...
 
Heroes mode is on there as well as survivor, and a few others. I really enjoy heroes mode. I already played and beat campaign mode lastnight. I really enjoy the game taking it as it is, a non-cannon fun shooter up with some of my favorite characters as well as some new exciting characters. Okay, now I'm gonna go play some more versus heroes mode. Later!
 
Ya know I said shooters don't belong as a RE game but you know a shooter RE that would have been awsome? A STARS shooter! I mean if its just a side thinggy and not even canon why not make a game where you go on missions as STARS that would have been sick.

But anyways...

I watched a let's play first thing yesterday, and my predictions were right. I can't say I care for this game. For one, as was already stated it just seems like "run and shoot things!" and with a lacking story, for me it would make it even harder to enjoy the type of gameplay I already find bland to begin with.

The game is a tad glichty, even though the campaign let's play I watched was only 3.5 hours. (Too many glitches for that amount of time IMO)There were a few parts where if the player fell to the ground you couldn't see anything and I don't mean just stuff on the floor I mean the character looked like it just fell into the building or underneath the ground. Then there was a part where a running zombie got stuck in an open door.

Spoiler: I know it's not canon, but I just found it funny how all this shooting is going on while Birkin is in his lab making love to his G-virus test tube and somehow he doesn't hear a thing. XD Now when I watch RE2 and they show that cutscene imma be like, "Where's the shooting!?" lol
Spoiler: This isn't really a big deal, but if you're gonna kill my favorate characters at least show me, the ending if you choose the kill them is so anti climatic.

Yeah, it's not a RE game I will be buying untill it hits the random table of games in the center of the gamestops where it's like 10 bucks or less. XD And even then it's a maybe.
 
I think the game definitely does have its issues, but it's really not all that bad. I'm not a huge fan of shooters, so I can't say this is ever gonna touch my list of 'FAV GAMES EVAR' but for what it is it's pretty alright. It'll definitely tie me over until RE 6.

The AI isn't too bad from what I've seen so far, I haven't had any glitches with the enemies themselves - although one of my teammates decided to refrain from moving during a battle so that was a bit of a 'wtf' moment but that's the only thing I've seen.

I'm sure when I decide to start playing with real people it'll pick up a bit. I do think it was overhyped, but I definitely don't think it's as bad as what people are saying.

I didn't add what I did like about the game. To be fair...

I really like that when you're bleeding the zombies just start bum rushing your arse. Pretty cool, it's like one of those things where you're like, "No no no no nooooooooo!" I also like that you can turn into a zombie yourself. And im not gonna lie, heros mode looks fun, a rental wouldn't be out of the question.

Thats the problem with most ps3 and xbox games i've noticed (more-so ps3) Not alot of split screen/2 player co-op games Its like they think split screen had a good run or something. What they dont realize is that most of us DO have real life-like friends that come over or hang out. I think they missed the mark here esp with it just being a spin off....why not just make it so, adding the extra game time for people who dont have online.

RE6 though....that'll be interesting

I just don't get it...XBox especially because you have to PAY for playing online with them...What if you aren't paying for the membership or whatever...So you're never supposed to be able to play multiplayer games? I mean, even with the PS3 being free it's still a bummer...I, in all honesty, have only ever played a game online once...I played RE5 Mercs online...I didn't have a mic or anthing so it was basically playing RE5 with a skilled AI...I wanna be able to sit down with my best mate, talk trash about the scum we are killing, and have a drink or two while I do it...It's just not the same (i would imagine) over the internet...
 
im the type of guy that doesnt matter about playing in coop or alone and i dont really care about the AI being hell at some times im still thinking it will be great game and im wishing so much to play it ^^
