But now you will DEFINITELY be on the lookout for it, where as it may have been subtle before...Now that you KNOW these things will happen, you're more aware and if you keep these things in mind it will take away from it...As for poor AI...I'm glad theAI is poor..They're zombies, I don't want them acting like Einstien...

As for the earlier part of your post....whatever........your obviously not getting anything I have been saying so I will leave it at that.

And as for the part I quoted above.

Its not just zombies "obviously".

Though I do understand why you would use zombies as a defense since its so convenient for you.

IGN also pointed out that it was also BOW like the Hunters (which I pointed out earlier and you obviously ignored).

I was using zombies as the generalization for T-Virus victims in general...They aren't exactly intelligent...Any of them...Even if the AI has issues, I won't let that ruin the fun I'll have emptying a clip in them with my buddies...That's all I'm sayin...Very few good games are ever made...So this game, even if it's as bad as you believe, won't let me down, because I don't expect it to be GotY anyway...

I was super hyped when I first heard about the game.
As for the campaign mode I expected missions like:
-escorting Ozwell Spencer and co. to the safe zone
-securing the BOW-s such as the TALOS from the Umbrella Chronicles
And meanwhile fighting epic bosses.
Reality is something completely different XD
But it will do good on multiplayer I guess.

An updated Outbreak (or a game more similar to it) would have been pretty awesome. That or I've always loved the idea of CAPCOM putting out a Mercenaries game that brings back a lot of characters- even characters you weren't able to play as before like Richard or Forest (they always seemed like they would have been cool guys), as well as adding in a lot of different levels based on old and newer games.

Also the two endings that were posted up for this game... Not at all impressive.

I second the Outbreak idea! Or better yet, a game about Nicholai. Since ORC was taking a new direction as a spin-off and we can play as the bad guys, it surprises me why Capcom hasn't made a game for Nicholai. I mean the guy surely did a LOT of things during the Raccoon City outbreak.

They aren't exactly intelligent...Any of them...

Sure there not intelligent enough to do math or speak in sentences.

But they have ALWAYS been intelligent enough to attack or try to eat you.

Especially BOWs like Hunters and Lickers who are confirmed to have a higher IQ than a basic zombie.

No matter how much you try and struggle to defend the possible bad AI you honestly can not come up with any "logical" explaination to why a Hunter would run up to you, stare at you in the face, and randomly just run away.

THAT is my point...

Its its great that you won't let those issues ruin if for you.

But thats the thing, you and I are different. I'm not willing to suffer through a bunch of issues simply because I want to play online with Friends. Sure I could ignore small issues but if its to blatant to ignore than it will only ruin the experience.

A game starring Nicholai is a cool idea for us fans..But it wouldn't sell because he's too much of an unknown character nowadays...hell...Even as a die hard RE fan, the only time i think of Nicholai is when REplaying RE3 or when someone on here brings him up...To give him a staring role in a game, especially considered how hated he is...Wouldn't do well sales wise, and Capcoms not about to loose loads of money so we can see what happened to one greedy UBCS member...

You and I are more alike then you realize lol...Frankly, we are both too stubborn to admit we are wrong...Also, I wouldn't play online with my friends...I don't even have a system compatible with RE:ORC...I'll take it to my best friend or my brothers house and play it with them...But that's about it...I don't even know HOW to play games online because I've never done it...I could continue to refute your claims, and you could continue to refute mine...But in the end, we both look at each others as illogical...

I Always come prepared.
People honestly take IGN reviews seriously, it is blatant they take bribes, Mass Effect 3 which alongside Resi and Tomb Raider is my favourite game series ever, loved it but disliked ending, IGN said the ending was "fitting and wraps up series well" yet there was loooooads of plot holes, are we supposed to belive that a profesional reviewer didnt notice that ? Ninja Gaiden 3, Sillent Hill just got similair scores too, no bribes no support. Im getting it on Friday when it is released regardless of what they say because i am emotionally invested in the series.

Well its good that you love all Resident Evils.

But I just can't find myself liking a Resident Evil game that is Resident Evil in NAME ONLY.

From what I have heard about it it has alot more problems than just being a shootem up.

1.bad AI
2.Boring Story
3.Lack of Difficulty

So the problem with the game isn't as black and white as people just needlessly hating on the game because it is different, its more about the actual problems inside the game itself.
Lack of difficulty? I'd have to disagree. The game gets pretty ridiculous at times. I've died quite a bit from being surrounded and caught off guard. The enemy A.I is ruthless so strategy is important, but having real friends to help will make it easier. So far the only complaints I have would be your A.I squad will get stuck behind invisible walls, not being able to turn while still running, and no quick turn.

I absolutely love it and I agree with Jay, I can't tell you how many times I've died so far.

(SPOILERS: These Hunters are freaking ridiculous, they just won't die! And fighting Nemesis? Even the zombies are pretty ruthless at times, especially when you're bleeding or are at certain points in a boss fight.)

No poor enemy AI here, whoever said that has obviously not played the game.

No poor enemy AI here, whoever said that has obviously not played the game.

Thats a pretty BOLD statement to make.

Especially considering the fact that a lot of big name sites have also pointed towards this problem and I HIGHLY doubt they have not played the game before judging it.

This list includes,

IGN
GamesTM
Eurogamer
GamesRadar
Game Informer
GameSpot

Also my friend who I know for a fact has played it also pointed towards poor enemy AI being a problem.

I know your entitled to your opinion, but maybe your definition of poor enemy AI is a lot more "lenient" than others.

Just my opinion of course...

I really liked Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. My biggest problems with the game is the length, aka about 2-4 hours long, the AI on the squadmates did get annoying sometimes (Espiecally since they died so many times on my first time through.), and the huge difficutly spikes espiecally later in the game, don't get me wrong I love a challenge, but sometimes this game goes a little bit too far (Like fighting 2 tyrants at the same time. Get ready to be hit so many times that you can't even get up.).

Overall I did like and enjoy Operation Raccoon City, and as long as I like the game then I'm fine with the final product of the game and more than likely I will play the game a lot.

I kinda figured short gameplay because this has so many extra features and an alternate ending. But what extra features are unlocked from the start?

I'll have this game on Friday. I have gotten really lucky since my brother called me last night saying he can get the game for me for free from a lady who tests games which made my day. I was always gonna get it anyway, I don't expect much from the game because its done by a different game company so my expectations are low. I think i'll love it anyway, playing it online with some friends and being able to play as characters like Leon, Jill, Ada and Claire Its gonna be great fun
