i think there is a door in RE 2 with no knob too... right after the stairs with the darkroom... right before you get one of those red diamantes

Oh yea that too, ur right, But it def. is RE1 by the first statue puzzle, oh well LOL..

are you sure that its not RE2?? you have to move to statues to some platforms, and a red diamant falling from a statue in the midle

Yeah, you're confusing the games. That corridor with the statues and the door without knob is in the 2nd floor of the R.P.D.. I believe the door leads to the corridor where Leon and Claire first meet... That area is later accessible but not through that door.

That door is the one with a red cross, in the left side.
