Name some of the dumbest things ever happened in real life

Isn't it true that Iranian government denies holocaust? It's dumb when a single person does that, but when a whole country does it... it's more evil than dumb.

It sure is. The Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (can I get a round of applause plskthnx, I just spelled that without having to google it first. Go me) has repeatedly denied the Holocaust, and has gone so far as to pretty much call it irrelevant in his interview with Larry King.

Anyway, just to clear things up - I'm not saying that Canada doesn't include the Holocaust in it's history curriculum, we get taught about it up until eighth grade and then in optional courses in secondary and post-secondary educational institutions. I only know two people who deny it in real life but I usually don't associate with those individuals anyway... I'm just saying it's abundant on the internet. You can't go to one video about the Holocaust on Youtube or related materials without seeing at least one person spewing anti-Semitic garbage.

Here in the U.S, it's been taught. We actually have MUSEUMS indicating the loses and valuable diaries or personal items found by those who lived or brutally murdered in the Hollocaust.
I know, I've been to the USHMM in Washington a few years ago. It was definitely an eye-opening experience - I think what hit me the most was that room with the many millions of shoes.

A new law made it illegal for shops to display tobacco from 01.01.2010. Tobacco is now out of sight in cabinets/drawers behind the counter. The thought is that fewer people will be tempted to buy tobacco. This is good if it works, and it probably have at least a little tiny bit of effect.

Now Phillip Morris are suing Norway over this, and they plan similar lawsuits against other countries (Island and Ireland).

Phillip Morris are suing the state because the state can not prove that fewer people will buy tobacco under the new law. How mega-dumb isn't this? If the new law does not work as intended and does not reduce their tobacco sales, why complain over it? -Phillip Morris would have accepted the new law if it could be proved that the new law reduced tobacco consumption?!

Haha, I had to read a case almost identical to that in my law class a couple weeks ago. The cigarette company (can't remember which one it was) took the government to courts under freedom of expression, lol.

That's not as dumb as the case I learned about yesterday - R v Campanelli. Ms. Campanelli was in court to contest an illegal narcotics charge - and when she went through the metal detector, she caused it to go off. When they checked her purse, they found hard drugs inside.

She went to court to contest an illegal narcotic possession charge with illegal narcotics in her possession.

Then she sued the government on the grounds of an unreasonable search.

Took the government to court under freedom of expression.. ROFL

That one about Ms. Campanelli was almost unbelievable.

Steve just walked into the living room door and tried to pretend it was intentional.

Ah, here's another one that I learned about last week. In 2002, the Laws (a couple, I don't recall their first names at the moment, had a safe from their store/business stolen. They reported it to the police, who found it in a field a couple days later, opened. An officer who had suspected the couple of tax violations made copies of the documents that were inside, a couple weeks later he had them translated - and low and behold - these documents outlined some pretty significant GST violations in intricate detail.

I'm not in any way trying to y'know, influence people not to pay their taxes or provide any kind of legal advice on the matter... but, if you're going to try to de-fraud the government, you might not want to write it down, step by step, lmfao.

People are funny.

A while ago, i was gettin ready to swim. When i was adjusting my swimming googles, they suddently rolled up, and got into my eye.
It really hurt a lot, is still hurting a bit.
This is such a lame thing to happen, i still don't believe it happened to me xD

Last summer, no every summer, I worked in the forest with too litle or in some cases no insect/mosquito protection. I get eaten up and I scratch myself a week. :p

Guys are dumb. Me are guy.

I just looked up some more stuff on the internet and found some more retarded stuff.

B*tching over the EXIT sign - Some how or another all the countries over the world except for America are b*tching over the american sign EXIT. Really you got to say that the sign looks rediculous and you have to have a brag fest, or b*tch fest, or sign war over it. Yeah this pretty much sums up the retardedness.

Silent Hill: ****tered Memories getting a 2/5 from Xplay - I know I am going to be hated for saying this, but this show now sucks. They gave this game a 2/5 for having little combat in it. Okay first of all, you guys went and played the game at E3 and knew that it wasen't going to get any combat what so ever, and you guys were fine with that, but now you give a review and you have to get that low of score because something you like, wow, you guys are plain f*king retards. It is like whenever a good game comes they have to p*ss everyone off with a low score. This show now plain sucks for p*ssing everyone off, being stupid, perverted, and of course low entertainment. I think that the only time I will acutally watch this show again is watching a old episode from the past back in 2005 since that is when the show was good or watch the new cheat sections in the new episodes.

Controversy over Modern Warfare 2 party system - Do I have to explain? Everybody who has Xbox Live knows the party system. When people found out that it wasen't going to have that system in some game modes they had to b*tch about it. Not going into further details so I am going to leave it off here because by now you know that it is stupid.

What was the problem? I only get that someone are unhappy with the sign, no reasons given.
So I'm afraid it does not completely sum up the retardedness.

I'm a very clumsy person.

In my first year of high school I fell down in the auditorium stairs. Mind that it was dark, a play was going on, and I couldn't see that I missed a step or two because I carrying all my books after the bell had rang to switch classes. After I fell, everyone had turned my direction and laugh. Even the people doing the play paused momentarily to get a laugh. That was embarrasing, but I laughed it off because it was funny. I never felt so hot and red like that until that time. The good ol clumsy me days. Haha.

Lmao Tequila, it's not good to be embarassed, but that sounded so hilarious. No wonder they paused and laughed.

It's not so much that it's embarrasing for me, but it's the physical feeling of it (like feeling hot around the face, blushing, and all that)

I had my share of clumsy moments for awhile. It's all fun though. I laugh just going back, thinking about it. LOL

Someone had stolen my lap top from my flat, and left the bag and the charger 0_o
That's terrible, also if it was an old laptop. Was it new? Pretty stupid to not take the charger... I hope you get it back or that you didn't have too important files on it.
Did they take other things?
There's no punishment hard enough for burglars grrr.
