Name some of the dumbest things ever happened in real life

When people these days are constantly talking **** and when the situation arises they can't produce action.

I got landed on when I decided to run underneath the monkey bars on the playground when I was in second grade. One of my classmates was sitting on top of them when I ran underneath them and he decided to jump off right when I came out from under them. I landed flat on my face and chipped a piece off of one of my bottom teeth. It hurt like hell, and my "grill" lol, will forever be tarnished because of that incident.

Probably not the dumbest thing ever to happen to someone, but it was pretty dumb to me.

Some more dumb things. I get sick and tried of saying that:

Controversy towards Mass Effect s*x scene: This is so dumb. There were 2 people who tried to fasley accuse this. One said that it had r**e and the other person said that there was full graphic s*x. I watched every single s*x scene in the game and I didn't see anything that sounds what they said. Second how is r***ing and s*x the samething. And third the game is rated M. Why would you complain about this if the game is going to be rated M. Quick lesson EC is not the same as M, E is not the same as M, E10+ is not the samething as M, T is not the same as M, but AO is the same as M just a little bit more graphic.

Controversy toward Saw: The video game - Some people has said that all you do is torture people for fun. I seen the game and I didn't see a single bit where you torture someone for fun. All I saw was doing puzzles and saving people. Know the game 100% before you start telling what the whole thing is about.

Controversy toward Tomb Raider series - All they b***ch about this game is s***altiy about it. I played 3 of the series and I didn't find any s***ality in the games. I like to point out that useless controversies toward video games is retarded. If people are willing to b***h about this then why didn't they talk about the PC version of Max Payne 2 where there was a costume that letted you play as a n***d Mona Sax.

Like I said controversies toward some games is a bucket of smelly a** dog s**t. If you are going to b***h because you are a b***h then the only do it where you don't try to get center of attention. It dosen't inform us, it dosen't entertain us, it just make us want to kill you. The only thing that should be controverial shoud be racism in games. Like GTA 4 which I haven't played much but played enough to hear the word n****r told to a certain kind of person.

EDIT: Another dumb thing that I just had to mention

"World at War sucked because of it's veteran difficluty" - So I was watching a video of guy doing Takedown on Veteran for MW2. After a little bit after 2 minutes he starts talking about the Veteran difficulty on some of the CoD games. He brings up World at War and all of sudden we hear this, "World at War really sucked. Veteran was just ridiculos. It wasen't becuase it was hard, but it was stupid hard." Ok I know people can choose on how they like a game, but saying that a game sucks because it was hard is just so plain dumb. Even when you say CoD: WaW sucks is dumb, I can see why with the PS2 version of the game, but not the next-gen console. That game was good. 2nd if you said that was hard then why didn't he mention Mile High Club from CoD 4, that was stupid hard. 3rd why didn't he say CoD 2 was stupid hard due to that the difficulty was hard and going through a game where no one can't stop saying N**zis on the left side 2nd floor, and all that other crap was hard due to that it was annoying. Like what some other people have been saying, Just because a game is hard it dosen't mean that it sucks, in my version its "Just because a game is hard it dosen't mean it sucks, it just means that you are scared frighten little kid who can't beat a game on the easiest difficulty."

I know ripping the muscles is the hole point in lifting weights but its the ability to rip, then wake up the next day an rip some more... I find it rather tedious... dont think Ive ever pulled a muscle though

I was in maccyd an I cant beleave I forgot this chicks name who was serving me haha, I think I come across rude, but I cant beleave my memory sometimes... The title to this thread is one of the dumbest things ever happened in real life.

I dont like the use of the word "ever" makes you think that something dumb might be important in the way the word Ever is used mainly because dumb things happen more then you think lol but I geuss when you say ever its something dummer then usawul

More, I need to stop saying more or more os something:

My friend's descion on how games are good: If he is going to be a video game critic then he is going to be the worst critic ever. Sure he knows good games, but this is #1 rule on how he thinks games are good. If they have great graphics. Would you ever say that a game sucks becuase its graphics were terrible? Graphics don't make a game good. A game is only good if it is fun. I told him this and he says "No it dosen't. A game is only good if it has good graphics and that's the truth.". Ok 3 things, 1: Talk to most video game critics and see how they know a game is good, 2: Good graphics is just a part on how a games is good, but hardly anybody gives a s**t, 3: Give me 100% proof that graphics are on how a game is good and/or fun.

Me friend's view on Ghost in the Shell: - This is the same friend. I think he is drunk or high when you speak of this. The first I asked him he says "That show is great." The second time I asked he says "That show sucks." The third time I asked him, but with Stand Alone Complex he says "That show is great." When I asked him about GitS: S.S.S he says "That movie was great." The last time I asked him he says "The movie was good, but the TV series suck. And you can only get the movies from Japan.". I think he is rather drunk, high, or druged when I bring this subject up. He says everything about GitS is awsome, then he says everything about them suck, and then he was that it is awsome, and now it is movies good, TV series suck. And there is the point where he says you can only get the movies in Japan. I told him that I can get it off from Ebay and he says that I can't, how can I not get it if it is on Ebay and is avaible for North America.

Worst dads ever - I remeber seeing 2 dads on a show called "The Smoking Gun Worlds Dumbest. The first dad was trying to get in another lane and when he takes the turn the door pops open and you can see a child rolling and was about to get his head squish by a 18 wheeler. For someone reason the kid walked back to the car like nothing ever happened. The 2nd dad has to be the worlds worst daddy. So he has a scooter and his daughter is in the front, so he pulls up to a gas station to fill up, for the dumb part he leaves the child on the scooter with keys still in the igintion and the scooter still running, the kid then starts to drive the thing until he kid crashes and falls over.

My Race - I don't usually do alot of dumb stuff, but this has to be the dumbest thing I have ever did. This happened about 8-7 years ago when I was about 6 or 7. I was on my 4 wheeler or tri wheeler and my dad was in his truck and we are out in the field and I yell out "HEY DAD LETS HAVE RACE, I BET THAT I CSN BEAT YOU!!!!" so I put the thing in high gear and drove it at the facest speed, and then I lost control and of crashed my head into the van and of course I started crying. The only smart thing was that I was wearing a helmet.

My girlfriend's dumb stuff - I don't who is the bigger idiot, me or my girlfriend. She says some of the dumbest stuff. Like a few days ago I asked her what actor I hate the most and I told her that it was Jean Claude Van Damme, then I asked her what actress I hate the most and you won't believe who she said "Jean Claude Van Damme". she then stares at a wall for 5 minutes and she never stopped until I yelled at her asking WTF was she doing. She even asked my how they spelled Van Damme's last name, due to the fact that she wandering if his last name was Dam*. I even get to think that she read the bible way to much, yes I know it is good to serve Jesus and read the bible and go to church, but I think she took way to serious. She thinks that if she uses self defense to defend herself then she would be disobeying God's word. She does some more dumb stuff, but I am not going into detail. Like I said I don't know who is the bigger idoit, but hey I love her so much.

EDIT:
People who try to act funny - I hate it when people try to be funny and fail at it. I have seen this everywhere mostly on youtube and at school. Even though internet celeberties are sometimes considered funny, mostly of they do game stuff, they try to act funny and they fail. Like the GT Countdown guy who talks about games in the GT Countdown, he tries but fails. Some guy with some video game news, he tries and yet he fails, mostly in the RE5 Gold news where he goes, THIS IS AFRICA, it was not funny and calling Chris, Leonidas from 300 is not cool or funny, because if Chris was to look like him, well Chris would be gay if he did that, reason being was the movie took place before or just shortly after Christ, so what do you think they went to war with, just armor and skirts. Lets not even forget spiderbite on NextGenTatics.com. He tries to funny, but like with most people, he fails at it. Take my advice never say or do something that you think that it is funny unless that you know that it is funny.

I can mention som dumb things but they'll not be dumbest ever.

- Me, waiting too long before buying Playstation. I didnt't know what I missed.

Jack Thompson's hate towards video games - He hates video games and he thinks that is why we are in war. All he does is just rant about video games being violent. Sure forget all the violence in movies, TV, all that kind of stuff and just complain about the violence in video games. I think that this is really stupid on what he did. Well, actually he does alot of stupid stuff, but ranting, complaing, snd sueing video games has to be the dumbest thing he as ever done.
He thinks games forms people and society. But it is the society that forms games because they reflects society.

Neo-nazism and Holocaust revisionism/denial. I got into a huge b!tch-fest/argument with a Neo-Nazi a few weeks ago. I never wanted to strangle someone on the grounds of pure and utter stupidity so ****ing much.

I walked into a bright red post box once. That was pretty dumb.

My daughter walks into stuff all the time - she's so dippy. It's like you get to a place full of potential hazards and she just loses the plot and wanders around without paying any attention to anything.

I've had someone walk into my car once. He was totally plastered and stumbling all over the place in the middle of the road, despite the fact I honked at him a couple times to move and there was a sidewalk (it was only one-lane so I couldn't drive around him). Anyway, I was going very slowly, but he crossed to the right side of the street and started walking backwards - then he full-on stumbled backwards and landed on the hood of my car. I had stopped by then so he didn't get hurt or anything, but my goodness it was stupid. He apologized and went to the sidewalk. Definitely one of the stupidist thing I've ever seen someone do... and I've been around many a drunk persons throughout my years.

Saying i was going into a room in RE, and go into the other. There were 4 lickers in the room, i got massacred. All i had was a handgun, all my other guns were empty.

-A woman raising her hand for the ...train to stop!

-Me running everyday to get to primary school despite not being late!

I agree, that is so ****ing stupid. But I don't get mad over it, I'm not going to let their idiocy ruin my mood. They can bury themselves in stupid lies for all I care, I don't bother discussing with idiots. I think it's dumb that society go crazy on these so called "historians" and other neo-nazis. Some places it's forbidden to deny holocaust or use nazi symbols. Why are we so afraid of it? It's dumb to make a fuzz over it. Also morons have the right to free speech. I'm not going to take away their right to publicly declare themselves as idiots.

It's a slippery subject. On one hand, everyone - regardless of stupidity - should be entitled to their fundamental freedoms, in this case freedom of speech/expression. It's not illegal to deny the Holocaust here unless the government can prove you're doing it to try to incite violence. As much as I greatly dislike people who preach anti-Semitism/Holocaust revisionism/any other kind of hate - as you said, it's their God-given right to be a f*cking moron.

On the other, I do understand why Germany, Austria, Poland, and several other countries have made it illegal. I mean, it's a huge black mark on their history and it's crucial for them - the world, really - to never forget what happened. People go around saying they'll 'never forget' - but it's so hard to take us seriously anymore when we have genocide happening beneath our very noses yet we kind of take up an 'out of sight, out of mind' mentality to address it.

It surprises (and disgusts) me how many people try to deny it. I was on Y!Answers a few months ago, and I can't believe how many people there had either not heard much about the Holocaust, or claimed it wasn't as bad as it's made out to be, or worse of all, that it never happened. I always thought this was just a small minority of the population - but I didn't realize just how many millions of people think this. What happens when all the people with identification numbers tattooed on their arm die out? It's kind of scary to think that it's becoming a very distant, perhaps irrelevant memory in today's society. When you think of it - it's not that long ago that it happened. We're not talking about something that occured in the medieval ages, we're talking about massive genocide in a modernized, 'civilized' society. The fact that the more and more people are claiming this didn't exist really scares the sh!t out of me.

But, I suppose that's a different topic.

^ I see your points. Here in Norway we are well informed on this matter through primary school. Norway was occupied 1940 - 45 and here are many labor/death camps spread all around the country. I don't know how much history kids learn at school in other countries, if this problem is as big as you say then I think the school must have failed. Maybe improving the education is a better way to deal with it.

Here in the U.S, it's been taught. We actually have MUSEUMS indicating the loses and valuable diaries or personal items found by those who lived or brutally murdered in the Hollocaust. On the other hand, I absolutely agree with you. There is so much ignorance and hated amongst various ethnic, race, and religious boundaries. I was researching and reading a book The Diary of Anne Frank, a young girl who wrote about her experience and past encounters of survival during the Hollocaust era in World War II. I remember going on a small trip with my class to visit an exhibit in my city, in 8th grade. We got the opportunity to listen to a Hollocaust survivor. Even though it was dull, I remembered what she said. This is not a joke, as some people would say. It's sad and very dehuminizing history in the WHOLE WORLD. It gets me just as mad to know that this type of behavior still EXISTS to this very day. There's mad wars/genocide in South Africa, genocide existed when Japonese military invaded a small town in China, which is renamed (I dont remember the name of the town). To put it in short terms, it was just as worse as the Hollocaust, but no one wants to mark that in history. If anything, it probably has an average of a sentence of 8 words in an American textbook. Maybe even China wouldn't want to mark it in their history because it was that brutal and so much shame behind it.

It's just ignorance and the lack of RESEARCH. If it's not learning it from the education system, it's self-motivation of doing SELF REASEARCH. I ran across many interesting books, articles, and countless interactions with different people from a variety of backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds. It's just so interesting to reach out to different people and learn outside from one's own culture and society.

But that's me ranting. No doubt that many of us will run into the most hating and ignorant people to the point you just want to kill them (not literally), but take a breather and relax. Such hatred and racism will unfortunately always exist. There's always a way to prevent and change ways, but it won't be ceased.
