Kennedy, that's the most bias thing I've heard you say. Are you seriously implying that Mario is the God of all video games, and if not for him video games wouldn't exist today? Do you know Super Mario Bros was not the first game ever made? He was not even the first to start the platforming genre. There were games before him, but Nintendo were the ones who made it big in 1985. He's iconic, but you've taken it out of context as to exactly why he is. This whole list is nothing but a matter of opinion, and nothing anyone should take serious.

It's not a bias...I never said without him video games wouldn't exist today...But at the end of the day, try to name ONE other video game character that is as iconic as him...It just can't be done...EVERYONE knows Mario...And, I'm not sure HOW I can be biased when I'm not exactly the biggest Mario fan to begin with...

Taking you on that quote it seemed you meant without him games wouldn't exist today. Just because he's iconic does not mean he is the "best" or has "the best games of all time". That's where you need to separate facts from opinions.

No...Games that started all the other MARIO games...And being an Icon doesn't mean that he's the BEST...But it does carry a LOT of weight...

There's no denying he may be the most iconic character. Now whether Super Mario Bros is the greatest game of all time is a whole different subject.

Lol Kennedy, that's not what the list is about. Its about the Greatest Games of All Time. Not the most iconic game characters. And to me Super Mario Bros is not the greatest game of all time. It is someones opinion that it is.

How isn't it though...Name one gamer that HASN'T heard of or played that game lol...It NEVER get's old...It's still making sales to this DAY...

Alright, listen. Super Mario Bros can be the number one game in the world. It could sell millions of copies and get billions of dollars. But at the end of the day none of that matters, because it all comes down to "personal perspective". What you think makes Mario number one someone else will not, and they will have their personal favorite. Its why this entire list is just opinionated. Its somewhat impossible to make a greatest game ever list. Because everyone has their own thoughts on what is the best.

But FAVORITE is what we are going for here lol...I mean...If FAVORITE were what I was talking about here, then I would believe WHOLE HEARTEDLY that Sonic Adventure should be number one...But that's not the case...Sonic Adventure just wasn't as groundbreaking as Super Mario Bros...

Lol you keep missing the point. People are going to have their own thoughts of who should be on the list. And by favorite I mean who they think should be number one. The list isn't about icons or a games history. The list is by someone who came up with an opinion on what they think are the best games. Though not everyone is going to agree with this because not everyone thinks the same. That's what I've been trying to get through.
 
Ocarina of Time is not #1. This list failed there, I think.

Left 4 Dead and Angry Birds don't belong on this list.
Also, Halo 3 is higher than Halo: CE? Really?

It's on the right track, but it needs to do some reordering. The only thing Halo 3 had over Halo: CE was sales, because more people owned an Xbox in 2007 than in 2001.

Doom was on the list my friend...Well...Doom 2...And I agree..Duke Nukem: Forever sucked...Btw, I finally started Death Note...
