lol irons is obviously crazier, he is the naive one for thinking umbrella wouldn't **** him over. anette is the one that found out about ada, and she was right about it. granted she is psycho for still being in love with william. HE IS her husband though, and they're both ridiculously dedicated psycho scientists. irons on the other hand hunted down live people for sport. luckily if you play claire's scenario you get to watch him die like the rat bastard he is. irons is definitely more interesting, anette is just boring and stupid.

Annette - Crazy bitch protecting her husband, which is a crazy-giant-horrible-deadly monster wanting to reproduce at all means with his daughter and kill anything that moves, which doesn't give a f*** about her daughter.
Irons - Corrupt Chief of the RPD, who kill humans for fun and get's furious with anything.

BEN BERTOLUCHI (or something like that) - Crazy guy who enters an infested police building, just to get an interview and ends up locking himself in a cell.

Chief Irons is the craziest in my opinion, it creeped me the hell out when you read his diary and he says "He died with his eyes wide open looking up at me it was beautiful" and when he said that he will let the Majors' daugher free so he could hunt her down was creepy as HELL!!!

^Lol, I was actually getting ready to post that right before I read your post. With that said Brian is on the top of the list.
Annette wasn't crazy, she was just p***ed and stressed to the highest level. Her husband was shot up like Alonzo in Training Day, then mutated into a monster eventually forgetting his human life, people were after the G-virus, the Birkin's most prized possession, underground in a city infested with monsters, not to mention her daughter. Yeah, I wouldn't be very happy go lucky either.

:lol:I think i'd say that Irons is crazier, he found the whole death of the mayor's daughter nice, or else he wouldn't have left her body on his desk... and then took it away with him. >_> However gross that is.
Plus the painting you get one of the red jewels out of proves it, a naked woman being bound. (or something of the like)
Annette isn't crazy, she's a smart lady I think, but she's just distraught over what's happening and not really having time to react, I mean, she had to get her daughter to go to the police station on her own in the middle of a zombie invasion, which would play on your mind just a tad.
In addition William is now a monster so she's not gonna be thrilled about that and the fact he's after Sherry.
So, in my opinion, Irons is plain crazy throughout, but the strain of the outbreak (as mentioned above) plays with Annette's mind so she doesn't know what the hell is going on, she's confused, and as most humans do when confused, they react violently. >_>
