  • How the hell did you end up in that profile?

Hey, hey! Nobody calls me unfaithful! :pinch: That's just the way I roll! :p Besides, she's a professional cosplayer!

But of course I can't forget you as well! In fact I was about to ask you to cosplay Til Schweiger for me! He's such a hottie! And I believe you'll do much better than cosplaying Regina!
You are right. No need to continue this. It takes too long for me to write these posts plus I really don't want to say anything stupid - if I haven't already!

In fact I'm so looking forward to our normal discussions.. Your Highness! Cheers!
Well, you know better about the Neo-Nazism. Here at the elections of 2009 an ultra right party got a 0.29 %. That's approximately 3 people out of every 1000. I just couldn't see how that could be a threat but I guess in other countries the situation is worse? But really percents don't frighten me because I believe that political opinions are transfered by ones surroundings aka from ones parents most of the time unless your parents have you pretty loose which I don't think it represents a signifacant percent of people. For example before our civil war communists were about the 30% of people. After the civil war most of them died and now they get about 8% to 10% in every elcetion. The only way for me that nazism will be dominant again in a country is if a really cunning leader takes advantage of a situation that frightens or displeases most people. Of course I could be terribly wrong on this one.

I don't have a clue about other countries but it seems your totally correct about mine at least. Here, everything after the fall of the Byzantine Empire doesn't get much of attention because they can't boost our national pride with anything after that period.

I've seen that movie. It's war. If someone starts killing you en masse you have to retaliate. It's simple as that imo. Plus they killed Hitler in the end. But If the movie took place after the end of the War and they were sent to hunt down and kill the rest of the Nazis I wouldn't approve it. I value life pretty highly. But that's another matter I suppose.

EDITED: Oh, you are talking about the fact that the jews appear to be harsh towards the Nazis like the scene where they carved on ones forhead. I don't remember anything about their past but I believe that it is inevitable for many of them not to be too agressive when they've suffered so many cruel things by the Nazis. Just like an abused child is likely to be violent itself.
Well, I don't think that black people are the antagonists of RE 5, but Wesker, Irvin and Excella. Likewise I don't believe that jews would be the anantagonists of such a game but the victims of a biohazard. I guess I'm just more lenient. I mean for me a game that someone would create out of hate towards the jews would be a grand theft auto like game taking place in 1940 where you take control of a nazi assassin sent in a town to the area of Israel in order to kill some top officials for the sake of the Reich and whenever you would kill a civilian a big message would appear on the screen saying "YOU ARE AWESOME".

In fact, the reason I asked you was because I was wondering whether or not I'm immature about certain things. In an effort to justify myself and because I'm tired of blaming me I came to the conclusion there is a natural process which takes some time for everyone to not have feelings about an event of the past . I mean if all people are not expected to want to play this version of RE6 70 years after WWII, if all people are not expected to want to play this version of RE6 100 years after WWII, if all people are not expected to want to play this version of RE6 200 years after WWII, then how are they expected suddenly one day to not have any problems about it like most people do about RE 5 today? That's all.
Of course you may! I really need to get on the ball and find my Photoshop cd so I can get all my stuff back together for you guys. I have two other members I have to make signatures for too. I should be ashamed that I haven't gotten to them yet. Work, and every day life keeps sneaking in and stealing me away from my fantasy world

Ill start looking for it tonight, so I can get started on them :D
Not Bad Given The Circumstances I Suppose. Sounds Like We Are In The Same Boat Of Sorts:lol:
Well, Imagine as well that all former titles took place in Germany and that all protagonists are german. Also I didn't say that the character is an agent of the state but an agent of a global bio terrorism counter organization like BSAA - unless of course "state" doesn't have to do with the government and I don't know exactly what it means. But yes, I guess the analogy of the two games is still not the same.

And I think that this is not because a game like that would be racist by itself, but because -like you said- if one implemented a game plot like this one he would be too ignorant about how much pain it brings to people nowdays. It would be very bad taste.

Peronally, while I try to repsect older generations who have experienced WWII or have lived the direct consequenses of it, I don't think that I would have much of a problem to play a game like that. I mean don't have any experiences of WWII at all. I read about it in school books just like I've read about the colonization of Africa. But seeing how there are people who are still oversensitive about the massacres of Africa back in the 1800s I guess it is natural for most people to not want to play the game I mentioned previously.

I believe it has to do with ones childhood again. Even though most of today people don't have any WWII experience, we grow up in an environment which teach us to hate the Nazis because the events are recent. I don't know how -maybe my parents weren't talking a lot about it when I was a kid- but I guess I escaped this pattern. But as time passes by more and more exceptions will appear who will see this war from a third point of view.
Haha. :) You know Veronica Mars? I'm a fan of her. She's very intelligent and pretty. She's a nice person, but can also be mean against bad people who deserve it. She's a very good detective and a good judge of character. And not least a good friend!

I hope you see how well all this describes you, La Femme Fatale. :) As an example of your skills; how you detected that Solace was Strikesback, and how you detected Poolbug when he registered with a new name. But to be fair, I detected who Kevin was a year ago so my senses can't be very bad. ;)
You know, I have an opinion about racism but I'm not too passionate about this matter because it was never a part of my life - I mean I've never experienced it personally.

So the next RE game takes place in Israel. The BSAA send a German agent to investigate the situation. It appears that the people there are infected by a virus which makes them violent and controlable. So the player has to kill plenty of those people, who because of the region 75% of them are jews as well, in an effort to survive.

I was wondering what would you think about a game like that?
So Veronica, what do you think about "Veronica"?
Are you wondering about it?
The swearing got misunderstood by both Carrier of Dust and myself, we misread Magnolia's post. I though Maggie quoted CoD when she really quoted CapcomGirl's "swearing".
I never take offense by swearing (not English swearing anyway), I'm more concerned about the general behaviour of people.

You checked the online list to see if I was active in the thread?
Thank you for nice words, but I've seen cases where you responded better than I could have done. :)
Veronica is my affectionate name for you, I hope you like it because I am going to use it whenever I want. :p

Haha you like small forum problems to deal with, don't you. ;)

I'm doing well too, just spent a couple interesting hours in front of tv.
Omg, I was a the DMC saying our usual jokes to a member when another member got irritated by them. At first he said something like "I've seen his profile. He always talks about sex" and then he got angrier.

Anyway, the point is I've never felt more ashamed in my internet life! I think i know what you mean now! I'll join the convent for real this time!
Well yeah I don't feel bad about it because everybody has phobias which are a result of how they were raised or of specific events from ones childhood. As long as a phobia doesn't include hate and one is sincere about it I really don't mind. In the end that's what a phobia is, something that you're afraid of but you shouldn't be afraid.

And yes I agree the the best option is to face your fears and in this occasion be in touch with a homosexual. I just didn't get the chance.. but I didn't chase it either.

However I'm afraid that I won't stop being insecure until I find a girlfriend. But that's another topic..
Haha, 10 minutes ago I thought about writing a message to you.

How are you, sweet La Femme Veronica? :)
