Apparently all white women wear a tank top, layered with another tank top, pants, half boots and always find time to accessorize with a necklace - but nothing too fancy because she's still 'out door-sy'.

I mean I'm okay with the design, she looks great, but it is a trope you get tired of. Especially when you ARE a white woman who has never worn that combination of clothing in her life. And a tank top is just something I would NEVER wear if I was afraid of being bitten.

Exactly. And yet all of these video game developers pat each other backs like "we dress her like a woman would actually dress herself!". Lol. More like "we dress her like this because this is the current trend in the industry".

Jill obviously got a white sweater - why not put that on and give her a more unique look?

In the original she look like she was going to the disco instead of escaping a city full of zombie, also I think that is very uncomfortable in that kind of situation and what if the weather was not good? She could have froze to death or worse

I definitely agree! Or maybe a causal Stars outfit, like her alternate in the original Resident Evil! The jeans, the vest with STARS on it, high boots, etc. (Though a long sleeve shirt under the vest would probably be more appropriate, or even a t shirt, than just the vest.)

I would be covering up as much as possible if zombies were after me but that's just me.

I do have to say it is MUCH better than the mini skirt. When I played the original Resident Evil 3 I always put her in her original outfit or dressed her as Regina from Dino crisis.

Or maybe just give her something that makes her look more like a pro, like a tactical vest.

I love the Stars uniform though. Even when I played Zero, I always put on Rebecca's Stars uniform because it looks so badass. I do hope we get a Stars uniform in the RE3 remake too, and I'd gladly pay 5 extra dollars for it.

If there's one gaming trend I really wanna see die, it's the "realistic look" trend, it's ruining so many games and even turning once great developers against the standards they held themselves up to.
Ed Boon of Mortal Kombat once said "Reality is boring, nobody wants to pay for reality" fast forward to today and his reasoning for making all the women look like transgender surgeries gone wrong and dressed in burkas is because it's "realistic", never minds that it's in a game where you can rip out peoples spines with one hand and the women still fight in high heels.
Jill's "realistic" new outfit sucks for me, nothing unique or signature about it, at least Claire had her red jacket.

I really hope you can select outfits from the get go in REmake 3 as I'll go through my first time with the classic outfit and replace the new design with an inevitable mod costume.

There are oodles of ways to improve over the original RE3 from pacing to dialogue to Carlos' section of the game. This is going to be amazing and I can't believe it will be here in April!

i just hope Nemesis wont chase jill from start to the End. nice thing about nemesis was you could run away from it and it loses you.
you know he is there but you dont know where and he just apears and roar STARS!
than means Run like hell.:biggrin:i always like to run away or playing with him. considering his new fire weapon, i guess it is not posible anymore...
if you try to run around him he will make a BBQ of jill.:razz:

I think he will have the same role as Mr x but the developer say that he had more method to track down and fight hill like using weapon

yep i guess he will destroy the walls and roof since he starts. in original RE3 only time he would do something like that was in clock Tower.
he was very polite and chase us door to door always.

I think the things on is chest is something releated to nemesis infection...

Since the trayler show nemesis destoyng the roof I suppose this will have something to do whit gameplay

I love the Nemesis Easter Egg - It is a little hard to hear that he is saying, "STARSSSSSS", but the sound is terrifying.
