What do men *really* look for in women?

I look for faithfulness/loyalty and someone who is reasonably attractive. But even then it can be difficult.

By the way, I like what you've done with the forum. :D

^Agree. If you want to party sometimes then go ahead, but Britney 's word choice makes her come off as immature. Oh course both cases have little to go off of because its just a profile. Assuming they were both real then there could be a lot more to both of them. The thing is though is that even though Britney could be really smart she still parties too much based on her profile. You can be smart and still be immature. (I know a lot of people like that XD.)

Yeah internet profiling tends to create for me anyway..a quick judgement. All you have got is that page and you cannot compare it..obviously that page isn't the person, just a static definition of themselves. And even then people easily create facades too or just post crap on there walls(like me :s).

There are the fun lovin party maniacs out there, it would just brush off or show differently though..maybe the soul purpose isn't to get smashed but to have fun as well lol.

Y no one say "bewbs or GTFO?" Sad face... :(

I'll be honest - men baffle me. It's almost like some are trying to say the PC thing when really they just want something pretty, able to hold at least a part-way intellectual conversation and have bedroom experience without being the good time that was had by all.

If you're me, for example, then the prospects aren't good. Never mind what shred of personality, vague IQ points and so on I may have - at the end of the day, I got three kids by 2 different fathers and I'm at least 80 pounds overweight. On a dating site only the freaks and sex offenders would even think of checking out my profile for longer than a cursory glance to eliminate me from their potentials list.

On the other hand, I'm married anyway so I get conversation, entertainment and sex on tap. So why worry myself? :D

bewbs or GTFO?
Anyway, that is a somewhat sexist statement but, I'll be honest, probably true. Sorry Angel :(

I'm horrendously sexist. Everyone knows that. I'm first in line to say, "woman, get me a sammich". And then duck.
*grindsfeministteethintodust*!!!!

;)

Ms. Angel you and Mr. Steve should consider yourselves lucky you have one another and I'm not just saying that because you both have the power to be rid of me from these forums.

*hands out yet another pair of false teeth* wow, you sure are getting through these lately, huh? ;)

I'm beyond lucky to have Steve and not because he's the only one who'll have me but because he's stuck it out for nearly 6 years and STILL hasn't run off so there must be something he likes. Maybe it's mah caek?

I don't know what you mean! I have not grinding my feminist teeth into dust since.....oh. -_-'

And I thought you said your caek wasn't that good?

Angel, you are without a doubt the first woman I've ever heard say that men confuse you. Especially since what followed that statement was a pretty spot on observation for what most of us look for in a partner.

I'm just so glad that HobbeBrain isn't here to share what he thinks of girls at his age. 15-16 year old boys 15-16 year olds make me want to shoot myself in the head some times.

Not to go off topic from the current convo but you cant blame guys for wanting the best looking female, not because they're dogs but because it's hardwired into their beings/dna, it's subconscious. The best looking females usually meant the most healthy and most likely to pass on the best genes to the next generation, or so the research has shown. Most men do not realize it though, they only thing they do realize is wanting to bang.

I do think physical attraction does play a role though. Say for anybody, you are given the choice to pick between 2 men/women, personality and feature wise (hair and skin color) lets say they are identical twins in that sense, just small differences, like number 2 is chubby, wears glasses, bad fashion sense, etc, all physical differences, would anyone truly pic number 2? For me, to have fun looks does play a role but for a relationship looks come second.

I can't really say for sure since I'm not a guy but I think Angel hit the nail on the head; it's all physical. Sure some of 'em like pretty decent conversation and a good personality but most of it's what's shaggable.

Ah, dear lickle Hobbles - it's frightening to think he'll be an adult one day. And possibly married. With kids. Bless him...

I asked Steve about this question and once he'd stopped BSing me with stuff he thought would shut me up he said something along the lines of, "yeah, we'll say stuff and look interested but really we just want to get into your knickers" Swiftly followed by, "so...how you doing?" He's a charmer, all right...

and that didn't work on you??
You women will never cease to confuse me.

Wasn't surprised to hear the result of the experiment, but more worryingly, if old perverts on Plenty of fish speaks for the rest of mankind then we're f**ked.

There comes a time when you grow up and realise sex is sex. Looks don't last, and time forever continues. Sure sex is fun for some, and a craving for others. But to me, at this stage of my life, having seen the world.

So long as she makes me smile and soothes my soul, then anything else is a bonus.

That's the problem with being young.. everythings about sex, looks, gossip, trends blah blah.. superficial nonsense that doesn't matter.

My girl can dress as she pleases, go where she pleases, do whatever she wants for a living, chase her dreams, rely on my support, loyalty and shoulder.

Ok i'll admit, she's a young version of an italian Salma Hayek, so she's far from ugly, but god only knows how much i've been booted from pillar to post over these past few years, so her ability to make me laugh is an absolute gift that stands her tall above the rest. she does stick out like nothing else in a place like Scotland.

Her looks won't last forever, but the countless times she's put a smile on my face in the midst of darkness will.

Sure, recently, when she walked through the doors at the trainstation and was met with a gentle breeze of wind that miss monroe would have been proud of, i did look down at my feet and chuckle as everyone, old, young, male, female all stopped and looked at her walk that ramp like a fashion show... Talk about the cat that got the cream.

That girl has been a long time coming in my life, but it is her ability to lift my soul that makes her #1 in my life.

Different strokes for different folks i guess.... best not to get too worked up on such things... good things really do come to those who wait.

what do men look for in a woman... go on the dating sites that I've been on and you'll find out
A quickie and a fumble with no strings attatched...
