Just got home from watching The First Purge. As someone who never watched the others, it was eh. I put it in the same category as the Saw films: Decent popcorn flicks when there's nothing else to watch, but nothing you should really go out of your way to watch it.

What boggles my mind is how can they royally f*ck up a franchise with such an amazing concept as The Purge? I didn't like any of em TBH.

just finished watching season 4 of Sherlock. And i am gonna be honest i watched a lot of Sherlock Holmes shows and movies. The only ones that i didn't like are the two movies staring Robert Downey Jr.

I saw Ant-Man and the Wasp last night, it was pretty good. Well fleshed-out story and pacing, liked the new characters, action scenes were better than the first, oh, and I loved how we finally got to see Giant Man in action (and no, that's not a spoiler for anyone who's seen the trailers). All-in-all, I actually liked it better than the first one.

8/10.

I just watched Watch Mojo's "Top 10 'Are You Afraid of the Dark' Episodes" vid, it brought back some fond childhood memories:

Of course the
pool zombie
episode took the top spot. That episode still gives me the creeps to this day. Note to self: never watch up close on my PC.

I also remember the clown doll episode all too well.

I used to love that show!
I don’t remember ever seeing a few of those episodes, definitely not the
pool zombie
one.

The one of the dollhouse and the girls turning into glass always scared me. I was kind of hoping to see the episode of the ghost boy who says “I’m cold” to be featured on there.

Went to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, it was almost as disappointing as Jurassic Park 3. Quite the mediocre movie with lame new characters. Though I must say there were quite a few moments that pull at your heart strings.
Like that poor long neck who missed the boat! I’m not OK with that image.

I saw it in theaters and I thought it was disappointing as well, though that scene was quite touching.

Anyways, I just watched Wedding Crashers on Comedy Central. It's been ages since I've last seen this film, and it's as funny as I remember. The dinner scene was hilarious as was the scene with Chaz/Will Ferrell.

"MOM, THE MEATLOAF!"

Watched the movie Under the Skin and it was quite the disturbing movie. It’s an interesting take where men are being hunted on the streets instead of the usual women having to look over their shoulders. I’m kind of surprised Johansson did a movie like this but she killed it. Also that music, very unsettling.

Watching Pitch Black right now. I saw Riddick in theaters and got around to rewatching Chronicles of Riddick not too long ago, so I figured I'd get all caught up in the series.

I just saw Mission: Impossible-Fallout, holy sh!t. Just when I thought the last movie (Rogue Nation) couldn't be topped, this movie far and away exceeds all previous films in every category. The action scenes are absolutely amazing, moreso than RN, the stunts in this movie left me on the edge of my seat from start til finish. Tom Cruise delivered killer performances, as usual. Say what you will about his outspoken Scientology beliefs, he's great in these movies (hell, dare I say, great in general), and this was no exception. They even gave Ethan more character development this time around. I know I was pulling for:

An Ethan x Ilsa romance at the end. Sadly, we only got mere teasing, but I'm sure they'll go all out in the next movie, the stage is pretty much set for a relationship.

It was extremely weird for sure, it took me a while to get used to the Joker's voice actor.

It was good to see Chris' voice actor play Batman again, just like he did in Arkham Origins.

I'm watching Boondock Saints on Netflix, loved this movie. Seeing Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery tearing it up vigilante-style with Willem Dafoe covering their tracks was epic gold.

Just finished watching the first two Harry Potter movies. and now i am trying to figure out which is the third movie. cause some say there are 6 movies while others say that there are 8.

Be Cool Scooby-Doo. Scooby was always my favorite growing up and I absolutely loved the offbeat, snarky reincarnation that was Be Cool. It was way, way, way better than the disappointment known as Mystery Inc. and I wish it had lasted longer.

The Prisoner of Azkaban is the third movie.

There are seven books, but eight movies. Book 7, The Deathly Hallows, is split into two.
