Thanks a bunch, alonecrow.

It's a Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook. I love it, but I'm currently saving my pennies to put towards an Apple Macbook Pro - Mac OSX Leopard looks awesome.

Here's a better picture of my notebook, if you feel like taking a look.

I'm a computer tech and I'm just wondering for my job's polls why you guys like Mac so much better. I work with both mac and windows but just a little survey here.

hmm... i'm also a computer tech, but more to the programming here.
maybe the reason why i prefer Mac than any other notebook is because:
1. it has a nice and elegant design.
2. so far, has a little threat with the virus
3. i know it's not cheap, but once you buy it, you could use it for a long time (my opinion)
4. for me, i have to try both mac os and windows, just to know who's better, but some of my friends said that mac is the best.
5. it's good for programming, since you can use it for open sources.

well, that's my opinion. i don't know about the others.
correct me if i wrong.

Very true. Well, about the virus threats. If you have the right tools virus's are very easy to remove from your computer. But, then again, you don't want to keep running your virus software again and again to remover viruses. I prefer Windows better, but now I can see why Mac is up there. Good response. If the rep was kept I would have gave you some.

yeah, i hate when suddenly a warning about virus appear in my monitor while i was doing something.
the real problem is you only can get one anti virus for windows in on notebook..

for now, i'm just using windows.. probably because it's the easiest to use.
when i have my money, i will change it.
