Letting your house rot is a pretty good idea, I'd say. That way you can keep the smell forever, not just for the length of one playthrough, and it doesn't cost a single cent.

But guess what, the candle even has its own trailer now!

 
So... were they over acting because of the smell or because the game is supposed to be scary? Why did this need a trailer?

Yea I remember a streamer saying that they would be getting it a week before release too.

I have the game pre-ordered so I'm just gonna stay away from all spoilers and play through it blind.

Same. I've been avoiding the leaks like the plague because I don't want anything spoiled.
 
Ugh I spoiled a little bit for myself already. I'm weak. Though what I have heard about the ending of RE7 only sparked my interest in the game even more.

I also recently started playing the demo and it's exactly how I anticipated it to be- freaky as hell. I'm honestly too afraid to play it at times and I definitely love the atmosphere. That all said, it still doesn't feel like an RE game. It is more like a Silent Hill game and anyone who thinks otherwise is simply in denial about the demo (you're completing ghost missions for crying out loud).
I know this is only a demo and perhaps the actual game itself will feel more like an RE game with more fighting and monsters (the monster in the demo was definitely RE -esque).

My personal favorite is c**t-ass.
 
I just got the game myself, but I don't want it to end too soon. :|
There's not much I can say about it for now, but I liked how I had to find a key item while staying hidden from Jack Baker, it reminded me of Alien: Isolation. I hope the game manages to keep the excitement consistent.
I read from several reviews that the puzzles are very basic, which is a real shame.
 
@bSTAR_182 Read it at your own risk... Here's my theory about this

No, that guy at the end is clearly not Chris Redfield, but someone else since it wouldn't make any sense for Chris to work for Umbrella. I mean the ending clearly shows the helicopter deliberately showing the Umbrella Corporation logo, except it's blue instead of red. However, there's the rumor circulating around the internet that the guy in the end is actually HUNK pretending to be Chris since Ethan wouldn't how Chris even looks like. I do think Chris one of the guys you can hear during a transmission before the final battle. I think Chris is that Alpha team leader they talk to but that's just my own theory.

However, I played the German version with my friends and in this version the Alpha team leader had Chris' German Voice Actor, that's why I believe this guy is the real Redfield:biggrin:

Definitely not Chris. Not only does that guy work for Umbrella and wear a uniform resembling Hunk's, he also looks and sounds nothing like Chris and introduces himself with "I'm Redfield." When does the real Chris ever introduce himself like that? Normally it's "Chris Redfield", "Captain Redfield" or even just "Chris", but never just "Redfield". My prediction is that this guy is an impostor providing a sequel hook to keep fans interested.
