But you need a great video card, memory, and a nice monitor for that.

The video card seems way too low. Upgrade that. The RAM seems too low too. Upgrade that. Any computer can work fin if it's equipped with the right parts so... As for the operating system, you can have any and still play a high quality, kick ass game, although a game would be really sick on Windows XP Service Pack 3, which isn't even for sale in stores. Luckily, I have a copy of it. So, a bit of this info is correct.

thats why my bf has AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core processor and has Nvida (geforce) graphics card hehe ;D

enemy territory, Nhl 2005, lego star wars 2, breed, FEAR, but i try to play on my gamecube alot lol i love zelda games especially twilight princess my fav and majora's mask

FEAR is a pretty big game for the PC so if you're saying that game requires a 3.0 ghz speed then the 2.0 ghz speed Alonecrow mentioned isn't so good.
