I thought that they modelled the game characters after the actors... I heard that somewhere- does anyone know if its true?

yeah that is true i think they scanned them but you know ps1 is a bit blocke so you couldn't really tell but yeah they were based of the actors which i think is cool a movie with the old RE1 actors would be cool cuz they look like the charactersLa Femme Fatale;30880 said:

in the US the PS1 version is the one that is in black and white but the PC version is in color

I gotta say just that opening scene was better than the damn movies! To an extent anyway... 
I love the guy's voice (Chris) that is narrating in the beginning, it just gives off this real eerie and empty feeling. Also the wind in the background sounds great too.
The acting and choppy cuts are crap though, but you gotta love it!
