yeah that is true i think they scanned them but you know ps1 is a bit blocke so you couldn't really tell but yeah they were based of the actors which i think is cool a movie with the old RE1 actors would be cool cuz they look like the characters

This was the very original introduction to the very original game. I'd hardly call it an insult to Resident Evil... yes, it's cheesy, but come on - in the RE world, this was classic.

I know, right! I still say that Wesker looks just like Val Kilmer. I've said that since the first time I saw this intro back in '96 lol. This will always be a classic, no matter how horrible it is!

I gotta say just that opening scene was better than the damn movies! To an extent anyway...

I love the guy's voice (Chris) that is narrating in the beginning, it just gives off this real eerie and empty feeling. Also the wind in the background sounds great too.

The acting and choppy cuts are crap though, but you gotta love it!

Haha, I used to watch this over and over just wishing they would turn it into a movie. I waited so long with the wishful thinking of this game being a movie. And you are right, it is a little better. Teasing us with live action RE1 movie footage. xD
