Austrilia has a spider called the white tail spider, so for this you have to whack all your gloves etc, when the white tail spider bites you. It bite normally but its got a poison that kills your skin so it doesn't heal itself

Yeah i heard of them didn't know they could do that though.Redbacks used to be a big problem but now its hell easy to cure we get a lot of harmless ones like huntsmans and daddy long legs though. If you wanna see some crazy ass spiders you just gotta go in the bush or some real old shed its highly guaranteed you'll find something poisenous.

Whack when it bites? I think I would whack gloves etc before I put them on.
So the white tail spider kills your skin? What can you do? Ourch. :pinch:

You have all those spiders and snakes that can kill you unless you get antidote. So I guess you have countless of species that won't kill you, but their bites really hurts?
We don't have much of that here in the sub-arctics.

Well its actually really rare for someone to die from a spider bite i mean all you need to do is get to the hospital within a few hours even if its fairly deadly. But yeah apparently it hurts like hell but its more so the body effects like bluriness body fatigue and such but now snakes they are different story you get ones called tiger snakes i'm pretty sure you can be dead within 20 minutes they hang around real damp, wet spots around incredibly tall grass(you know when you see it put it that way).

Seriously though snakes will only attack if absolutely necessary if you are trodding on in the bush on there homes and such and i've been through countless missions through bush.

Romero.
You can't stop it, unless you get instant medical treatment or the correct treatment. Go on to YouTube and put WhiteTail spider in. It kills the skin.

EDIT; Austrilia are the worst for poisonous spiders. Oh, the huntsman spider doesn't attack humans. It doesn't you can tease it as much as you like but it's bite is not deadly to a human it wouldn't even cause infection.

ALSO, if being bite by a spider which is deadly if you don't get it treated it can swell up and you will have a hole in your skin for some time and you'll have to get it dressed. Just go on youtube and put spider bite infections etc.

Haha, until very recently I always thought they were called 'dandy longlegs', lol.

It was going around for the longest time that the daddy longlegs were actually the most deadly spider, only their fangs were too small to actually bite a human. I think that was disproved, although I'm not entirely sure. I tend to shy away from anything to do with spiders.

I heard that too i wasn't sure what to think though.Out of all spiders daddy longlegs are the ones i do not mind at all if i get some at the top of my room they just catch all the mosquitoes anyway they leave me in peace and catch the mini pests so i'm happy. On another note mosquitoes only ever attack my feet and neck i do not know why.

Other spiders may be harmless but they tend to move around too much and i never know for sure what they are,you always know a daddylong legs(lol).

I read that the white-tail spider prey on other spiders. And it's not very aggressive. Still not very pleasant to have indoor, but it could have been worse...

The daddy longlegs are not dangerous unless you are a mosquito. They do not have a bad reputation here, but I understand it's an urban myth regarding their venom some places.

This reminds me once, one of my friends had arachnophobia.

I never knew the phobia was actually so serious, I pranked him and sent him a fake link one time while we were chatting, which was full of pictures of some spiders. After he checked the link he didn't say anything for almost a minute. But then he swore at me... A lot. And when I say a lot, he did it for almost the rest of the day. D:

Good thing he stopped though, after 124035 apologies later. :(

He's also very afraid with virtual spiders, he doesn't even play games that have at least a spider enemy, or an enemy that looks like a spider(Too bad every RE game had spiders or ones that look like one).

I'm surprised he's ok with Spiderman though. :P

I bet he's the real spiderman and hes making this whole act up so you don't suspect him.

lol nah i knew someone with real chronic arachnophobia he was a bloke who could hold his own y'know but damn he saw a spider his heart would stop it was so funny getting a spider near him he was even to afraid to kill them.xD

I watched something in National Geographic one time, where they showed the behaviour of people with arachnophobia. They'd wrap nearly everything in plastic, keep the place extremely tidy(as in they freak out even when there's only a crumb on the floor) and they would sit on every clothing so that if there's a spider there they'll kill it when they sit on them.

Sometimes they even wrap themselves with some type of plastic when they sleep, the plastic had holes all over, but not big enough for spiders or bugs to fit in.
