"The False Widow, a purple and black creature with a body the size of a 1p piece, is said to carry enough venom to kill a human."
"Its bite is not deadly but can cause swelling and severe pain."

"Since arriving in Devon from the Canary Islands"
"The False Widow first started to arrive in banana shipments from the Spanish islands about 140 years ago."

This is why i don't watch the news.

Is America safe?

IS IT!?
Nope. You've got killer bees and deadly snakes.
I think I prefer a black widow or two over killer bees....

Romero your scaring everyone now.

Haha nah Australia's got some terrible creatures there are some pretty deadly spiders but they are the last of my worries you gotta watch out for snakes, you don't come by them much and not all of them are dangerous but you meet the wrong one and they mean business.

Kangaroos in there mating season....They will crush you some of the males are massive and are red looking they are freaking huge.As long as you don't disturb them in there season or start marching right through there territories/homes(yes they have houses)you'll be fine.

Lol your probably never going to go to australia anyway.:pinch:

The Canary Islands belong to spain...
And probably the spiders don't release all the poison in one bite and that'ss why they say that.;)

It's called deadly yet they say its bite isn't deadly but can cause severe swelling and pain. The news article is too confusing. D:
