Oblivion!

The Original
I've seen quite a few members with Oblivon on their Gamertags so i kinda figured i may as well make a topic so that we may discuss things about TES:Oblivion.

Talk about anything to do with it here!

I'd first like to say that it's a great game and one of the best i have played. The overall size of it is extremely impressive. Not just the amount of quests but obviously the size of the world and all the details included.

To those of you who haven't played it, i'd highly reccomend giving it a shot if you're into RPGs cos it really is a great game.

It is my all-time favourite 360 game...I'm such a fangirl it's sad

I even love it when it glitches (apart from the Hermaeus Mora or whatever it's name is glitch - that sucks) because most of the time it's amusing stuff like Imperial Legion soldiers forgetting to attack me and killing each other instead or horses in trees. Easily amused, me...

I could talk Oblivion all day if it didn't bore the crap out of everyone else

My boyfriend likes oblivion. too bad he doesn't have an account, cause he'd talk about it forever. I think it looks god awful boring, like FFXI. It's really pretty though, and the amors cool.

Definitely one of the best games I've ever played. Shivering Isles, the add-on, is something I could play over and over again. Can't wait for The Elder Scrolls V!

Yeah i pretty much completed every quest and now my character is ridiculously strong i haven't played it in ages though because once all the quests are complete nothing really much else to do, I need the expansions.I liked Morrowind much more well at the time anyway i spent so many fricken hours on that game and completed both the expansions.

So you may ask why might you say this?Well all the enemies level up the same time as you which means your always an equal level which is incredibly gay and also if fast travel was not in the game and they instead added stilt riders it would've lasted about 10 times as long.

Thats it though the games still fricken awesome it was the first one i played on the 360.

Same here Hoady mate. Oblivion was one of the first games I got to and I played it to death. I haven't really played it properly since '07 so I'm really eager to get back into it now that I've forgotten most of what goes on. I only need one last achievement on Shivering Isles too. ^_^

Oblivion is great. I play it on PS3 so I lucked out with better graphics and load times and such. Shivering Isles is pretty epic because of Sheogorath. He's hilarious.

Yeah ps3 gets all of the expansions on the one disk thats pretty cool,i've gotta buy shivering isles off the marketplace for 2400 points(i'm poor lol).

this is one great game once i start to play it i nothing will distract me and i ignore everything for three days

Actually, Shivering Isles is still seperate. But Knights of the Nine is with it.

I've always wanted to play this game, but I never had the chance to do so... :(

I'm waiting for the PSP version to come out, but the release date's still TBA.

I can't imagine a PSP version of Oblivion.

The games so big i wouldn't think the PSP would be able to handle it. But wow it'd be pretty sweet to have a PSP version!

And maybe they'll have an online feature on it and you can do quests with friends! That would be awesome! :D

I dunno, they'll probably remove some features or something, since they need to make it fit into less than 1.8 GB. I guess the game wouldn't look as good as it was on the PC, or could be an entirely different game in general with the same gameplay.

Multiplayer in Oblivion would rock I think.

That would be the meaning of epic i would love to play it splitscreen coop or freelancing online with like 3 mates just exploring dungeons and completing quests together.

Maybe in Elder Scrolls V?One can hope.

If they were to put it on PSP the game would seriously have to be dumbed down quite abit. My 360 has problems running Oblivion sometimes so who knows what it'd run like on PSP.

Maybe they'd put different parts of the worlds in different cells like they did with the cities in the game. There'd be alot more loading times though.

Also, anyone got any news on ESV?
I've looked on uesp.net and it said the game was scheduled for release round the end of 2010.

Can't believe the games already been out like 3 years now.Really 2010?I doubt it theres not even a word on it and they made Fallout in that time but maybe they got the word locked down real tight it would be awesome if its released then.Is that the official site?
