not too terrible of a wound, but I sliced my right thumb open. I'll take pictures later for anyone interested.

no more video games for me :(

I cut my thumb open once i bought a hunting knife when i was about 12 and it wouldn't go in the leather case so i kept shoving it through when it eventually came out the side and went through my thumb.I couldn't feel it though apparently it knocked out a nerve or something, the needle was even more painful! But yeah my thumb is slightly stubbier then the other i could put a picture up of the scar but it isn't really noticeable i think it was 4 stitches, halfway up the thumb.

As for the knife, well my friend was there in the car when it happened and we named it the intimidator so i carved into the leather and then he bought it off me two years later.

one time my big toe busted open because of a malfunction a a heavy duty slingshot!!
i never got stitches, but it was pretty bad,and i couldnt harldy walk at school at all :(

anyway,sorry sephi! *hugs*

I once was taking out the trash and I think that there was some broken glass that was from a piece of window glass, so when I lift it the broken glass riped the bag and went through my leg. It got so far that you could see part of my bone *shivers*, when I saw it I covered the wound yelling "MOM!, MOM!" but I guess she didn't hear me, until like 5 mins later she came out looking for me when she saw the stream of blood in the sidewalk, then she took me to the hospital. It took like 20 stiches to close it. It's a miracle that I don't have any scar left.

uh one time my brother pushed me off a couch and i bashed my head open a little and got 11 stitches.

Oh noes, I'm sorry to hear that Sephi. Although, I'm rather squeamish so I'm not sure I'd want to see the photos.

Erm, since we're all talking about stitches, the only time I had ever gotten them was in second grade, so a long, long time ago. I remember we were playing hockey, and I had went off the rink to take a quick drink, and just as I was getting back on again, a kid had shut those big-ass arena doors- and my thumb was right in the middle of it. To make matters worse, I pulled it out instead of waiting for someone to open it, because the zamboni was coming and I was afraid it was going to run over me.

I obviously can't remember what the doctor did or anything, I know the bone was broken and I had to get lots and lots of stitches. So yeah, there's my story.

Scars are kewl. Remember, chicks dig scars. Or so they say.

Well, since we're all talking about bodily harmed incurred to ourselves, I might as well deposit an anecdote for your reader-ship:

When I was a wee tot I was making faces in the mirror surface of a doorknob (yup, I was a brilliant child) when said doorknob was engaged by someone on the other side of the door, which swung open. I was bashed cleanly in the right eye by doorknob, hard enough to send me flat on my butt. And today I have a nifty little scar over my eye and clear through my eyebrow as proof. I always snicker that it shows up the easiest when I frown. Murder to shape my eyebrows, though, because no hair grows where the scar is.

Ah well. This is a very interesting thread, might I add, ha ha.

I coulda sworn it was

"Try terrorism for hire, we'll blow some **** up it's more fun"
"Shut the **** up."
"You watch your ****ING mouth!"

unless you WEREN'T quoting face/off :D

not that i'm encouraging swearing.
