Simple as that.
Because... I actually cried at the ending ;_;
The feels, they're just... too much to handle.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night ends pretty badass, too. Plus, there's Klonoa: Lunatea's Veil.

This is it right here for me. There has never been a video game that I have felt so much emotion playing and their probably never will be. A few games have come close but not on the level this one has.

Metal Gear Solid also comes to mind.
Xenogears too. The first time I finished the game, it was really early in the morning, just before or around sunrise. It made the whole experience truely amazing.

Final Fantasy VIII. Especially if you're familiar with the squallsdead.com theory.
I really liked the ending to Fable 2 - I don't really know why, I just did...
I just love when you win at the end of Monopoly Streets and you see everyone's corporate headquaters come crashing to the ground while yours becomes a collossol sky-scraper. Har har har.

Final Fantasy X, God of War 2 and Mass Effect 2 all had great endings.
You mean it's actually a theory, and wasn't implied in the game? How long have I been wrong... I thought he was supposed to be dead in the game.
That's one of my favorite endings, but only the Extended endings due to dialog changes and less plotholes.
I think my favorite ending would be the ending to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Epic game and Epic ending. I know I'm a fanboy, a sentimental one at that because I almost teared up at the end.
