Do you believe in spirits ?

I believe somewhat in karma but that was a really bad example lol.Yeah well those bad people who have everything depend on possessions and wanting more so they do bad things to get more,in the end they all become unhappy.well its what i reckon anyway.

My cousin was telling me a few days ago about how she reckons theres some pretty mental stuff with spirits/entities on a place called Bali.Its a really tropical,tourist destination but if you live there you will probably encounter one crazy thing or two.She was mentioning how they needed to get a little temple in there house to cleanse and keep out any bad energy floating around because apparently it can get pretty real.I believe her 100% though, i guess when i get to bali and if i live there long enough i can share an experience(hopefully not lol).I don't exactly believe in them but there still scary as hell!

I've been having some weird ass experiences.I swear i've seen a ghost twice.

1:About 3-4 weeks ago i was having a cigarette(mind you i have stopped smoking 2 weeks now!)and it was just before dark.Well i looked across the road and saw something walk past a tree and stupidly enough it was kind of white.It was very weird though,i went there too look and there was nothing there thats when i started to feel a little paranoid but i came to an oddish conclusion that it might've been the tree and just forgot about it.

2:This was about a week ago.I was microwaving some food about 11:00 at night.Directly from the left of me is a hallway, i turned my head towards the hallway when my food was done and i swear to god i saw the same thing run past and i immediately looked down the hallway and saw nothing there.It was the same whiteish thing again,whether it was real or not i only saw what i reckon was a leg but this time it was in my house!Theres a high possibility its probably not real but its just too weird man.

Now on a different note i dunno if this is something to do with a spirit,energy,if its just a bad dream or what but this happened last night!Well all night i was trying to get to sleep, i was so tired but just couldn't get there.Finally I started having a weird dream like instantly started dreaming it was really odd.My cousin and my little brother were in it and for some reason they were listening to some loud techno or drum and bass song in my kitchen late at night.They were standing around like cluelessly and it was incredibly unsettling,somewhat scary.

So i went out of the kitchen and appeared in my room.Now i climbed into bed(recently i moved my couch and put it next to my bed so the back is facing towards me).Very quickly i felt something really dark or evil grab my shoulder over the couch,i caught a glimpse and it was a fully pitch black figure but i couldn't move i was half paralysed and could only move my left side of my body a tiny bit.It felt like some ****ed up kind of energy or feeling when it grabbed me.It was about to stab me with a knife or i thought it was and i woke up in the exact position as the dream.I freaked out,and quickly got up and patted down the couch lol.

I've heard of sleep paralysis where you become fully paralysed but i don't know if this was the same thing but i don't think it was.I know some of you guys are excellent on spirits/ghosts anyone know anything about what happened?

In all seriousness, I have never had any experience with ghosts or 'demons.' I also don't chalk up every single weird occurrence as the act of a ghost/spirit, which it seems like a lot of people do. Also, their mental state may have something to do with it. I'm not saying that they are crazy, just that the mind is indeed a powerful thing, and that if a person is freaked out enough and thinks they are seeing a ghost, then their brain will show them a ghost.

The only reason I've given any credibility to the existence of ghosts is because my dad always tells me stories of this haunted house he used to live in. The house was built in the 1800s as a wedding gift, but the bride was killed in an accident (during construction I think, don't remember,)and now its haunted by her father Old Man Pierce, who built it.

The bathtubs would fill with water during the night, even though my dad took the stoppers and put them in the medicine cabinet. Footsteps could be heard upstairs when nobody else was home, and one time all of his records were strewed across the floor. The curtain that would cover the doorway to the dining area would always flutter up when there was no breeze. Pretty much the works. My aunt (his sister) stayed there one night and refused to go back. Finally one day, a door slammed shut and my dad was scared that someone was breaking into the house. After that he just got fed up with it and moved.

I'm not scared or paranoid at all of ghosts but it was odd y'know i have been unintentionally thinking about them alot lately though which is odd because i've never actually believed in them.You rarely ever hear of anything round here if i told anyone they'd probably go"what?**** off man.".If you believe in it i think it will come true,if you don't nothing will ever happen.

My dad has a story about a ghost although i haven't asked him about it lol one of my other relatives told me his story.

Anyway goes something like this:Now my dad is not scared of anything and i'm not talking physically or aggressivley,but mentally hes got an incredibly unique way about it.Well he lived at an old castle in spain at one stage in his life now this place is literally over a 1000 years old its real medievil ****.I'm not sure if the houses were apart of the castle chopped down or if its a mini village below the castle.Well he was working on a house down in the village,painting or something with his friend and they heard a little girl crying.'Yada yada yada' he went to check it out but there was nothing there.Later that night he couldn't get to sleep and he heard the same crying again and well he just ignored it and went to sleep.

Ok now you know those little ducks or toys that you can put into each other?You get like 7 of them and one of them is big and they keep getting smaller so the ducks can fit into each other?Well anyway he had those on a shelf and APPARENTLY the next morning all the ducks were lined on the floor,a painting on the wall was on the floor and there were scratches on the wall.I haven't asked him yet so when i see him i will give an update on the story!

But seriously i don't think i saw a ghost.I used to always see something out of the corner of my eye and then i would always analyze it and find out i just saw the stove,tree etc and mistaken it for something.Since i've started thinking about ghosts and talking about them with someone im probably just making myself believe in them...SNAP OUT OF IT!!:wacko:
