Ok guys, I think I don't want to know that stuff.

In the mean time, I've seen the worst things ever, but it was on TV. A documentary on ancient and medieval torture. I felt so sick I wanted to go to bed. And that's not a metaphor.

Actually, I have something of a serious question. Who/what are robots according to the website?

Romero, can I get your general thoughts and opinion on Scaphism?
I had to look this up in the dictionary. Scaphism was a form of capital punishment used by the Persians and it's an interesting one. When left to die it's a cruel form of punishment, but if it was only for a limited amount of time I don't see why it couldn't be used today.

A program that is able to interact with the website. Many search engines send robots here to index the content, and spammers send robots to spam. These are the two most common types.
Rumors has it one of the moderators is a robot, and if true it's a very successful one.

Used for what???

Scaphism could be used today, but the criminal would have to be released the same day. The only problem is that too many people would find it unacceptable, so it's not politically possible.

We have a problem with full prisons and criminals being released early simply because their cell is needed for a new criminal. I think we should consider having more than one inmate per cell, and also consider alternative methods of punishment.
