I enjoyed the puzzles, but they're not essential to have in order to convey a certain "feel" to the story. If they decide to get rid of puzzles altogether, it won't affect my choice to buy the game.
Although I don't think it NEEDS a re-make, I would still play it. It would be exciting to see the graphics improved for a more realistic experience, but then again, some of my happiest memories are of playing this game. It was the very first RE game I had ever played.
D.C Douglas IS Wesker's voice, in my opinion. All of the other voice actors didn't do Wesker justice, but D.C did. He captured the deep sly mutter that Wesker's personality epitomizes.
