Master of unlocking...

Rev 2 is sounding pretty good so far. I <3 raid mode in the 1st game but sounds like they've made a lot of improvements in 2.

Can't wait to get the full game when it's out.

I wish someone would update the wiki better with creatures that's appear, creature variants ect.
Also on the different difficulty settings do different monster's appear?
For example in campaign no one has saw any Glasp creatures yet (appear in ep2 maybe?) but do they appear in raid?
Anyone saw any new chainsaw enemies for example?

Does anyone know already how to unlock
Leon
?

From what I read so far I guess it's 20 completion medals and finished episode 2. Can anyone confirm this?

There was a rumour that you unlock something at 30,60 and 90
Can't tell you where though since it was just random places I looked

Thanks :)

Core time at work just ended, so I'll know in a few hours anyway.

It's funny how much I enjoy RER2's raid mode. It's not just a bonus, this feels like a standalone game.

Oh cool.
I subbed to you last week on Yt.
How often do you record? I would like to see more :)
I record as often as I remember to. However, since I don't have the greatest upload speed, I try to pick wisely with my uploads. I'll probably post a few in the coming days though!
Thank you for subscribing! I think you might be the first. xD

so i have hit a wall in this game. very sure all players will eventually get there too. that scandalous massive FPS drop has made things very difficult to play. its not uncommon for me to just lose close to 1/3 of my HP within the first 40 seconds of RAIDmode because the frame drops just has perfect timing to make me lag and get hit. even with that i'll share what i think you all should know.
WEAPONS
best weapon set :
1 machine gun (called assault rifles in this game)
2 sniper rifle (semi-automatic is the way to go)
3 magnum
last weapon slot is whatever you want. these 3 weapons all PIERCE, and this is important. machinegun/assault rifle comes with plenty of ammo, it goes without saying its for the little guys, but because it pierces and you can add special abilities to weapons here the machine gun can even handle bosses, assuming you know how to handle recoil (short burst fire). in this game you get magic bullets lol. i find best put the power of FIRE on your spammable weapon, machine gun in this case.
magnums are the classic boss weapons, its firing rate does NOT matter. best put your efforts in pumping up its damage power, and ammo capacity if you have room to do so. mine i put magic on it to hit harder as target is closer, and capacity, and power.
the sniper is clearly one of the most useful weapon to have. it is just the magnum-assault-rifle hybrid. good for bosses, great for clearing fodder. it comes with a decent load of ammo in RAIDmode, and this is THE weapon to install 'life steal' power on. if you say this weapon is bad i say go get better at aiming >_> headshots happen all the time when i hold a rifle.

SKILLS

best skip the 'X weapon master' skills, and the 3 exceptions: sniper master, magnum master, and melee master. at first it sounds great, get better weapon handling, then you realize you are not suppose to put yourself in a situation to go empty and need to reload in middle of battle, every time you have a moment to reload before facing another unit you do it, reloading in battle means be prepared for some pain.
Great skills: Moira's 2 Melee boost skills, Jill's 2 Dodging boost skills, sniper + magnum master for that extra capacity, Gina's gesticulation for da giggles, and any other defensive boosting skills.
WE HAVE NOT SEEN ALL CHARACTERS APPEAR YET, so more skills could be added later. heard something about a sword/knife mastery skill, maybe that would be added, once i have tested it.

i made great mistake, got attached to Claire, played her to higher levels, spent all the points on pistol master, hoping that at the max, pistol master would boost damage power greatly. it doesn't. then hoped that when you inherit a skill all characters would get the skill MAXED, they don't. so yes don't bother wasting skill points on any spammable weapon mastery skill.

i have no doubt that once the online co-op is patched in, i would get over my wall. but while it lasts, we are on our own. but as Barry says, I HAVE THIS!!

I should probably mention theres another character "sipher" or something which is the wire diagram guy you are when you first sstart. He has a katana and you unlock him by getting 90 completion medals

Getting 90 completion medallions isn't really that difficult as there are many relatively easy stages, just time-consuming because from what I've heard, you must actually get all 90 with the same character. I have 57 at the moment, and the credit for most of them belongs to Moira, but as you can see, I'm still far away from unlocking Cipher.

By the way, does anyone have a good idea what to do about this annoying party pooper?

It's a skunkdead from Revelations 1 in case you don't recognise it, and it really ruins the fun for me! That thing is strong and fast, nearly impossible to outrun, can kill you in a single hit, has like 30 times the health of every other monster, no weak point, can't be stunned, knocked down or stealth-killed, and now they're also giving it fire powers and a friggin' shield! To say it in Moira's words: What IN THE C0CK were Capcom thinking? Actually I don't give a moist barrel of f*cks, that lard-sized abomination is already invincible enough, stop giving it superpowers!

If that isn't a good reason to level up Jill to get her rocket launcher...

I have an ideal about the scakdead i battled it yesterday the way I got it was to run around the fence in between the rail tracks so it could not get to me. I know it's got a shield so the only way I did any real damage was to run around the fence and shoot it then keep running worked in the end .
