What truely is the scariest RE game to you.

Mine is RE 1. The atmosphere of calm mania was amazing. The mansion and the guest rooms were sinister feeling. Trying to kill the plant was errie then those zombies jumping out was frightening. And the first time the dogs jumped through the windows was intence.
 
Fyi. I am talking about the gamecube version of RE 1. that is the first one i played. The PS 1 version was scary but not as much as the cube one.
 
The first game was the one that scared me the most, back in 1997/98 when I first played. I was a young avid gamer - I would have been 11/12 years old. Yes, my parents shouldn't have let me play! I was so terrified of the zombie dogs, but what really got me was that zombie shark. I have always had this reoccuring nightmare about a shark chasing me in shallow waters, so that really had my heart in my throat.
 
I only played Re3,4, CVX and Dead aim... and i saw my cousin play Re2 when i was a child. To me, the scariest was Dead aim... Had a trauma with pluto.
I have also seen videos of the other games and i think the remake and 0 are also scary.
 
the only game I've jumped sometimes on is RE2 it's not scary but sometimes like 4 zombies smashes the windows and grab at the same time ^^
 
They didn't make me jump but I thought the Regenerators in RE4 were quite scary and tense.

Like when you could hear them wheezing but you didn't know where they were.. And the first time you fought them how they just wouldn't die! :o
 
I got a Playstation 1 for my birthday (1998 I think it was) and the first game I hired was Resident Evil.

The dog through the window. Scariest moment I ever had.
 
I would have to say REmake, the first time I ever came across a crimson head I had to pause the game and try to work out what was going on. Apart from that the "Whoa! This hall is dangerous!" line scared the heck out of me.

Out of the RE games Ive played the Remake of RE1 was the most tence. more then RE4 an RE0

Getting eaten by the shark was cool, I watched my mate complete RE1 before I even played it. so I knew what to expect. Hunters smashing through doors is scary.

just makes you think it must be ****ed if its chasing me, The doors it smashes down will be gone forever there will be doorways with no loading screen! lol
