@KennedyKiller I think I am LOL at least I hope I am! Glad to see you’re still around!

CT: I wish my neighbors would stop smoking in the direction of my back yard so I could enjoy the nice weather. ;-;

Took a two year break when life had its moments lol, but I'm back in action! But with Turo, Flora, and Rain it was glad to see so many old faces still around! And it's nice to see you back as well! I actually found myself thinking about you like a MONTH ago because I was on skype and going through my call history and found a skype call of ours from almost ten years ago XD

Ah skype, the good old days! I’ve not used it in forever, probably a decade! This is such a wonderful tight knit community that I’m glad to be back and welcomed with open arms. Y’all have always been so kind to me, and for that I’m thankful <3 also glad you’re doing well too!

CT: I’d love to move somewhere on the coast, but far away from most people so I can finally sit down and write that novel i’ve been meaning to write.

CT: Sometimes you have to shut the door on people, bolt lock said door, sneak out the back window, and move. I’m speaking metaphorically of course, but phew... I wish I could file a restraining order on someone in another country. I’ve had enough of their BS for a lifetime.

And here I was, thinking we had something...

CT: Can we have some summer, please? Not too hot, not too cold - just for the week that we are on holiday by the beachm, and then it can go back to being grey and miserable.

Thank you for the chuckle. It made my day better already! As for Summer, come to where I live. We can switch places for a week because I happen to love rainy/grey weather!

CT: Coffee truly is the thread that keeps me going these days. Thank you, very addictive substance, for waking me up in the morning and putting a smile on my face xoxo

I love the rain and the cold...but not when I'm on holiday. It's a totally British thing, I reckon, where we seem to think that because we've paid money, we should automatically get whatever passes for the perfect holiday weather. Then we complain about it.

Oh no, I totally get what you mean. When you go to the beach you want sunshine! I’m in the south ( in the US ) and it just... gets so hot and humid here I could use a holiday away from the heat! It’s nice sometimes though, especially when I’m gardening and enjoying a cup of iced tea outside. I think that’s why us Americans have iced tea... it’s too dang hot sometimes to enjoy it proper  probably why we talk slower down here too. No telling how many heat strokes we’re having lmao! but we DO have amazing beaches, I’ll give us that.

CT: humanity is strange as hell. I got a message last night from a friend who had left me on read for TWO MONTHS asking why I had gone quiet. Last I checked I was the one sending HER messages last. What’s up with people and why does it seem no one knows how to communicate with one another anymore? Kinda ticked off she tried to insinuate I was the one ignoring her when I had sent five consecutive messages last. I don’t like harassing anyone lol so I’m not gonna keep messaging a person if they don’t respond to me. Not quite sure where I went wrong here...

Reply back in two months. lol

I’ll admit I can be bad with replying back to texts but dang, two months later is very excessive, especially when we live in a time where everyone our age is glued to their phones.

CT:
Summer is officially here in Florida if anyone is interested. 96 degrees is supposedly the low all week!

CTTTt: I just got my second Pfizer shot.

Right? It’s not even the ignoring that made me angry though. It was the entitlement, and accusatory nature of the message. She insinuated I was the one who went “radio silent” and she was worried about me. If she was so worried she could have.... oh, I don’t know, replied to the messages I’d sent two months ago? lol and then to strong arm me when I said I was going to sleep ( she messaged me at 1:55am so I was already well into bed and falling asleep ) she was like “NOOO ;A; don’t leave. We barely talk anymore and I miss you!” I’d insert that confused “???” guy meme here but it’s hard to insert pictures so

Also, congrats on being fully vaxxed!

I got sick from both COVID vaccines unfortunately. But I think I’m slowly feeling better now as the fever has subsided and I’ve only felt nausea and a headache in the last 8 hours.
But we played a crap ton of Village in the last 3 and it’s been a blast... Played through the Beneviento House last night and what a horrifying part of the game that was. Easily one of the scariest parts in any Resident Evil game. Very reminiscent to the P.T. demo meets the creepy pale lady from Scary Stories to tell in the Dark.

Spent over an hour on hold to ask a 3 minute question.

Not the most productive use of my time, but I'm stubborn and wasn't going to give up my slot in the phone queue. Thank goodness for free minutes...

I got real sick after my second Moderna vaccine, but I have to say - it was totally worth it to have this feeling of freedom back. I still wear my mask everywhere so I dont make the local people feel uncomfortable, but it just feels like second nature now.

In New York (upstate from the city), the weather is getting to be nice. I have put the ACs in already and getting the garden finally settled. Yesterday it was 95 where I am, but at least that is the weekly HIGH. Not LOW. lol. And I cannot complain about the amount of thunderstorms we have had recently.

I was shopping alone yesterday and the power went out in my local grocery store and all of the people gasped in unison. It went back on almost immediately, but I do love that feeling of being in a situation with a bunch of strangers.

CT: Ya know, as far as remakes go, Evil Dead 2013 is one of the best out there...
I know they pitched that as a remake but I don't get the remake feel from it. To me it feels more like a sequel as it is supposed to take place in the same universe and if I remember correctly, Ash was supposed to make an appearance later down the road when the 2 heros ultimately meet. But of course no sequel was made and that idea fell through the cracks.

That being said, I think Evil Dead 2013 was a better representation of Within the Woods than the original was, and it had more of the horror feel that Sam Raimi originally had in mind for Evil Dead. I like both. My husband and I went to see Evil Dead 2013 in theaters as a date movie haha.

Burnt the hell outta my ear with my hair straightener today. Definitely one of the worst burns I’ve had from that thing!

My wedding is on Friday! The lucky thing about it is that there are almost NO restrictions left as 104 out of 107 attendees are vaccinated. Just have to hope it does not rain.

Also, be careful with a hair straightener. My soon to be wife picked one up on the wrong end thinking it was not plugged in anymore and she was WRONG. 2017 was a bad year for burning ourselves as I got a crazy oil burn on my hand from dropping salmon in the pan too harshly. Yeowch!
