I liked the village.

Least favorite was the castle... And the water room and novisadors have a lot to do with that.
Haha, reminds me of the saying "one man's garbage - another man's treasure", because one of the reasons why I LOVED the castle was the water room.

But it gave me a lot of headache (in a good way), because I attempted to retain a 100% hit ratio. However I missed one bullet somewhere in that long chapter and I was so terribly annoyed! I thought for sure I had hit with them all and I had no idea where I had missed, but it could very well have been in the heat in the water room.
And I also somewhat like the novistadors, though they are not my favorite enemies. I think the colmillos (dogs) are the enemies I like the least, their movement is so unpredictable.

Village, because it had the best battle music.
I thought the island had the best battle music.
And I think the castle had the best battle music! :p

Garradors are my least favorite enemy's. BTW I believe it's "One man's trash Is another man's treasure.

I likes the village and the island. I would have liked the castle, but I feel that area was too drawn out.

My favorite was definitely the village. I really liked the atmosphere of it, and for some reason it was always the most memorable area from RE4. El Gigante, Chainsaws, and the part where Leon and Louis hold up in the house are some of the highlights that made the village awesome for me :)

Barracade cabin man..... Be careful on pro.

The village was my favourite because I liked the enemies in that section more so than the ones in the castle and island. I also disliked the later sections because of what happened to Mr Sera.

The castle. It was insane everything you had to go through to get out of there in one piece. The giant bugs in the sewers got on my last nerve many times. The prisoners with the wolverine claws were scary and I hated having to protect Ashley from the monks while she operated the crank to lower the staircase. I loved my first run-through, it was the scariest experience in a game for me before I played the REmake later that year.

I like every location, but I'd say that The Island is my least favourite, because that's where the level designers began to lose steam. Just seemed like they locked you in a room with swarms of enemies more often than before on The Island.

The village was by far my favorite part. It had the most creep factor to it. The military part at the end was my least favorite. The ganados with the machine guns were too much for me. They didn't seem scary. They were hard to take down, but their chainsaw counterparts were WAY scarier.

Hum... not sure, but I would say the labs areas where the Regenerators are to be found, which takes place in the island.

It's one of those segments of the game where you trully feel that, despite taking a more action oriented genre, that is still a Resident Evil game, because there is all that classic suspense, emphasized by the creepy Regenator theme and sounds they make, being locked in a room with one of them.
