Two ethical questions

Inspired by Femme's Robin Hood personality test, I looked at the same site for more tests. This is the Two Ethical Questions test.

1. If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had eight kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?

2. It is time to elect the world leader, and your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:

• Candidate A - Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
• Candidate B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening.
• Candidate C - He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.

Which of these candidates would be your choice?

Those questions have been out for a very long time. I remember showing this to my 10th grade history teacher

1. I would reccomend her to do whatever she thinks she should... If she wants to have the kid, then have it, but if she's too sick or thinks she can't deal with that, then don't.

2. It's difficult to chose basen on that (rather than his leadership skills), but i think the B option is the most balanced guy, so, if I only knew this, I'd vote for him. The A option is also interesting, except for the astrologists part. Some of the greatest people in history were horrible partners/parents, and had lots of addictions -- I gotta start smoking again!!!

Femme: it's not OK to cheat xD... don't make excuses like "i already knew it", lol.

1. Thats hard for me to answer, its just unnecessary suffering for the child you know but wheres your right to take the childs life?I'd rather her life be taken for being so damn careless.

He didn't drink nor did he smoke. He isn't kicked out of somewhere. And he's a war hero.
I understand if it's Hitler or Stalin (or something. Never been a history expert), but C is just a random candidate, isn't he?

Well, I didn't really feel bad, but I did realize that I'd blindly choose someone like him D:

The only politics i ever liked are JFK and Ron Paul.The rest of it is a nonsense popularity contest, over here they just yell at each other in a big room then get caught up about one of them 'chair sniffing' for a year.-__-
