Resident Evil 5 RE5 Logo Foreshadowing Game Ending?

To me it looks like lava, but it could just be an effect to make the game seem more dark. I saw this when loading my game and I thought to myself "hmm, what a random title image, why lava?" but then I remembered the only lava in this game is in the end.

What do you think? Pretty far fetched I know, but interesting none-the-less
