It's not really the same as Dodging. It's reaction times. Which means you don't really have a choice. So I wouldn't consider it real dodging But still close enough. Most games have Reaction times, Kingdom hearts, Resi 4, god of war, Devil may cry. It seems like it's a requirement. :D

Button Mashing is just when you're sitting there hitting the X button, O, (so on and so forth) Like firing a gun, or attacking with the keyblade, Button reactions are like in Resi 4 (Press L1 & R1 to dodge) or Kingdom hearts (Press Triangle) and you do some series of moves. You're reacting to the buttons they tell you to as opposed to just hitting buttons to do attacks. Understand?

[/quote] If the game puts a button on the screen, or tells you to press a certain button, then yes, that's what I mean.

except the button mashing isn't bad in KHII but in RE4 I hate it >< sometimes i can never press it at the right time like with the cutscene for krauser.

I watched that video on Youtube. So I knew when the reactions were coming. It's not really that bad, it's A B or L1 + R1 or whatever. Doesn't seem that bad
