Is it that big a deal considering this isn't the most active place and we still want a RE2 remake?

I have to agree with you on this; I'm of the belief that an old thread (including this one) shouldn't be revived unless people have something fresh to add to it; Last time I checked, I have indeed added at least one thing fresh to this thread.

I remember signing some sort of a petition by RE fans to have RE2 remade similarly to the RE Remake or even kinda like RE4. Whatever happened to that??? I even heard that RE is about to be totally rebooted from the very beginning again. Any truth to that?
