BUT I DO LIKE THE RE2 LEON. I just hate the modern Leon.

No worries. I liked both 2 and 4 Leon, but I think they ruined him in Degeneration. I was not impressed with cardboard cut-out Leon, to say the least.

I will agree with you on old Leon being better than new Leon, the whole "lets fast forward to modern day and make him suddenly badass" spoiled new Leon for me.
