First of all i strongly suggest getting Resident Evil 4. Simply one of the best games ever.

Play RE2...is the best in the series if you want originality.
you can play RE1,2,3,4 on your pc, so if you havent got an original playstation or gamecube, consider that.
if you want a challenge play code veronica.

Welcome to the community - I know next to nothing about Resident Evil so I'd be an awful person to ask about it. But I make the place look pretty, so that's ok :)
