Did Leon actually ever met Jill Valentine?

OH MY GOD I JUST TO DEFINITIVELY ANSWER EVERY QUESTION ASKED AND CORRECT EVERY MISTAKE UTTERED

Okay. 1) Code Veronica DOES fit into the overall storyline. It is canon and takes place in late 1998. It comes between RE3 and RE4.
2) REmake's biggest changes besides the graphical overhaul was that it introduced Lisa Trevor back into the story and gave us Crimsonheads, and therefore new gameplay mechanics involving the burning of bodies.
3) No, Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles DO NOT replace the previous games because the segments that retell the games are being told from the perspective of their respective characters, although one could use them to breeze through the classic games and skip to 4.
4) "You ought to give RE6 a try sometime. It actually rekindled my desire to get back into the series."
Sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom, eh?

What I was getting at by posting that was that I'm not the only person that thinks the Chronicles games and original RE are canon.

Oh, the Chronicles games are canon. Umbrella's End is the fall of Umbrella and basically greatly elaborates on Resident Evil 4's CG intro. Operation Javier is the transitionary piece between Leon S. Kennedy: confused rookie cop and Leon S. Kennedy: calm, cool, and under pressure Secret Service agent and gives a much needed backstory to my personal favourite Grey Fox ripoff, Jack Krauser.

But the original games take precedence over their segments in Chronicles because the originals weren't being told in flashback by one character.

That doesn't make you anymore right. A million people could think that George W. Bush is female. A million people would be wrong. Just because other people think it, doesn't make it true...

Don't believe me? I will PROVE it to you all!

Grey Fox and Krauser are both great soldiers whose skills far surpass the main character's and over the course of time become great friends and valuable allies within their unit. But they ultimately betray the main character and both become bitter rivals because they buy into the ideology of the series' main villain and wish to bring about a new world order because they feel they have no other place, all while the main character laments the friendship they once shared.

Krauser is Grey Fox in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

This is what I've been trying to say!! I just couldn't put it in words. You are a genius.
I am the only RE fan I know that loves Krauser. He's epic. I like most of the characters nobody else in my family likes.

...This is what we've all BEEN saying...

Things I've explained have also been confirmed by Capcom. Again, they said the Chronicles games are canon if you want them to be.

So, what you're basically saying is that the Chronicles is an alternative version of the canon? You can pick which one you prefer? I think the Chronicles - on their own - are lacklustre in terms of the story. This would be a diminished version of the overall story in Resident Evil.

It's a bit different then what you were saying.

In my mind, it's all mixed. Some parts in RE 2 that made no sense at all in any of the scenarios made sense in DSC. For example, it's more important for Claire to fight Birkin every time, since she's the one with Sherry, but in CA/LB Claire fights him most of the time and Leon finishes him off, and in LA/CB Leon fights him and Claire only finishes him off and rarely normally fights him. In DSC, Claire is involved in every fight, which makes way more sense.

Oh, I'm not in the "We Hate Krauser" boat by any means.

Krauser has been a running joke between my friend Kyle and I for years, considering how weirdly gay he's been coded if you examine it. For example, every time we see him after the QTE Knife Fight, he's removed more of his clothing, or how some of his dialogue could be interpreted and misconstrued...

"Looks like you're on tight leash."
"Mmm, now we're talkin'..."
"Goood, Leon..."

HAHAHAHAH I totally see it!

No...No it's not at all...And if it is, explain exactly how...

The Chronicles games are canon, including the flashback scenarios, but the original games do take precedence. There are canon parts to the scenarios.

...That is exactly what I said. I think you need to re-read his post. He said "But the original games take precedence over their segments in Chronicles because the originals weren't being told in flashback by one character."

I said, "Point is, no matter WHAT, RE2 takes precedence over RE: DC."

And before that I said, " The only TRUE cannon parts of Darkside Chronicles are the Operation Javier parts"

Do you know that he said..."Oh, the Chronicles games are canon. Umbrella's End is the fall of Umbrella and basically greatly elaborates on Resident Evil 4's CG intro. Ohh you made it sound like none of the flashbacks were even remotely canon. Sorry about that.

It's ok, but trust me, when it comes to RE I pride myself on knowing my stuff. I have spent ungodly amounts of time and money, much to my wife's dismay. I had a whole room in my apartment dedicated to it at one point, one half decorated in Umbrella, one half decorated in S.T.A.R.S. I've met voice actors. I've spent, literally HOURS, doing nothing but research. I've beaten every game in the series MULTIPLE times (Except for Revelations, which I've seen beat, but never had a system that could play it until recently), was known as the RExpert to several people I know, and all in all, have what can be an unhealthy obsession...I'm not 100% right all the time. I know that. But I'm damn close lol. Side note, I also cosplay Leon at various Conventions...

High five!

But did leon actually meet jill? Hahah

None of that implies Jack K is gay, only that he overestimates himself with his big talk. You might as well throw in the fact that he called Ada the bitch in the red dress, and make out its because he hates women. I'm sure if he got her alone, well, god knows...what a misogynist ;)

Me too! I was offended when you said I have to do research, lol. I've been playing since the very first, and I was only four when I got it. Yes, four. My dad secretly let me play it. My mom was confused when I had a toy shotgun and when my cousin stole my bike and rode down the street with it and I chased him while holding the gun. I screamed at him "COME BACK HERE YOU LITTLE PUNK! WHAT A MONSTER!" The "what a monster" part was totally a Resident Evil reference. Since I still live at home (trying to save up money to move to the U.S...) I only have one room to myself, so in each corner I have one of four of my obsessions. My RE corner is overflowing.

Hmm... True. Or he could be like my uncle, who is completely gay and yet is still in love with Madonna xD.
