If you haven't noticed, I like to talk about myself, so here's a thread for all of us to get to know details about each other we might otherwise never know. Why ten, you ask? No reason, really; name as many facts as you'd like!

1. "Glamour" is a reference to True Blood, which I was obsessed with at the time I chose this name on a different board. I chose the British spelling for it not because I'm British (because I'm not) but because I think it looks better than the American version, "Glamor," and has "amour" in it (French for "love"). I'm a bit of a word nerd...
2. My favorite colors are red and purple because they're the most passionate warm and cool colors.
3. I drop more money on clothes than I do on anything else, including video games!
4. I have both Scottish and Irish in me, and I can drink a lot for a little guy.
5. which brings me to this item... I'm 5'7 and 120 lbs.
6. I have naturally curly hair. My mom has wild curls, and my dad has thick, wavy hair. Fun combo.
7. My best friend lives in New York (state), and we've never met. But we've talked on the phone at least every other day for more than two years. We instantly connected when we first chatted online together, and I tell him everything now.
8. I'm almost always the teacher's pet in school, and when I'm not, I lose interest in the subject!
9. My first boyfriend was a gamer, too, but he didn't care for Resident Evil. We lasted a week.
10. I'm planning on getting an Umbrella tattoo on my back, behind my right shoulder.

I suck at poetry. Well, I thought some of my poems were good, but then I took an introduction to poetry class and decided I just didn't have the patient to write it, lol. But I do like to read poetry. Do you like to read it? If so, whom are some poets you like?

I love reading poetry...And, as lame as it sounds...I have to credit my love for poetry to my early childhood...I had the entrie Dr. Seuss collection, as well as two of the three Shel Silverstien books...I still go back and read those CONSTANTLY, but as for my favorite poets that aren't childish...I really love Veronica Shanoes and Edgar Allen Poe...

1. I have trouble finding a woman that I feel is worth any of my time.
2. I do eat crazy amounts of cheese in real life. For dinner, yesterday, I had pasta alfredo and cheese pizza, both covered in parmesan cheese.
3. I smoked my first cigarette at prom.
4. I lost my virginity with a girl on Christmas.
5. I lost my virginity to pot on the same Christmas.
6. Christmas is my mom's birthday.
7. I drink tons of coffee, always black. I have a french press in my dormitory for that sole purpose.

10. The highest altitude from which I have ****ed was out of the 10th story window of a city building.

You know that with the American spelling "Glamor" it would still have "amor" which is Spanish for love.

1. I'm a pretty cheap date - one drink and I'm done. I love Boston Pizza's 'Space Freeze' or just a good ol' Yaggerbomb.
2. I major in political science and labour studies. Politics is, for one reason or another, my first love.
3. I've had every eating disorder under the sun and I love McDonald's breakfasts.
4. I read Wuthering Heights once a year.

6. I've never worked in waitressing, fast food or retail as any of my 'student summer jobs' - I've always opted for doing front desk hotels because everything else seemed scary.

1. I am exceptionally good at a number of things but have been careful to cultivate a persona of incompetence so that when I do choose to make a point one way or another, I make it in a devastatingly awesome fashion. Most of the time.

2. My IQ is 145. I know, right?

3. I am absolutely terrified of dentists, teeth-related incidents and cannot even look at a wobbly tooth without wanting to pass out.

4. I am numerically dyslexic and was once sent to the head of the maths department at my grammar school for getting 4% in my end of year exams (and that was earned by getting my name and the date correct). They gave me detention for being stupid.

5. I have a medal in skiing on a school trip. Don't ask me how I managed it - I spent most of my skiing holiday on my backside screaming for help.

6. I've never found a job I actually like - but I could tell you a bazillion jobs I know I'd hate without even trying them first.

7. I'm an alcoholic and have been sober for 6 years now.

8. I'm supposed to have only a 25% chance of conceiving since 2007 yet I've chucked out a further two sprogs in that time.

9. I'm scared of mirrors. More specifically, mirrors in the dark.

10. I won't walk into restaurants or bars alone - I insist on having at least one other person to walk in with so I don't look stupid being on my own.

1: I am slowly but surely cultivating a love for studying scripture.

2: I've been obsessed with Resident Evil for years, now.

3: My name is Liam, which is an Irish name, though I, myself am British.

4: I'm almost as skinny as they come. Last time I weighed myself, I was around 11 stone. (don't know what that is in pounds)

5: Mountain Dew is currently my favorite drink.

6: I believe God will save obedient mankind.

7: I believe this world is going to hell, so to speak. It gets worse everyday.

9: I think both Cats and Dogs can be annoying... meh.

This can include the Resident Evil game soundtracks, Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy, Two Steps from Hell, and so on and so forth.

1. I'm bilingual, so my mothertongues are Finnish and Swedish. I'm also fluent in German.
2. I dye my hair often. I've had so many different colors, can't almost even remember them all.

6. I moved away from home when I was 15 'cause I had to because of my new school. I live in my own apartment and fortunately my parents support me financially. I love them so much

1. One of my biggest problems is being far too thorough, I can't get enough things done.

2. I would have a good shot at a local championship in procrastinating. I think this is somehow related to #1.

3. I don't care so much for tech gadgets, I don't have much stuff. No digital camera, no mp3-player etc. But the few things I buy are usually high class. I don't like cheap things - I'm obsessed with quality. But I have a strong dislike for flashiness.

4. My laptop is 11 years old and my cell phone is 10 years old. They are both up to the task.

5. I'm a romantic and a dreamer.

6. It happens people think I'm stupid because I may appear to be serious when I joke.

7. I almost never wear my wristwatch.

8. I don't like new cars. I do like old cars that still looks new.

9. I was terrible at school and never did my homework (I was very kind tho). I got fairly good grades (kind teachers?) except in math and English. I still can't do math (barely figure out 2+2), but I gradually learned English by watching TV and playing PC games, and Internet forums have helped too.

12. I like to say a joke on a friend's expense, but I like it even more if the joke is on my expense.

13. Diplomat or troublemaker? I'm not sure, maybe both. I feel it's my responsibility to tell my bosses what I think they need to hear and not what they want to hear. I think it's much easier to dish out criticism if the recipient is someone higher up and not someone on my level or below. Maybe I'm arrogant and naive, or maybe I'm fair and fearless, or maybe all of these things. Not all military bosses I've met was okay with this attitude but it didn't give me any grief in civil work-life.

14. The most kinky thing in my bedroom is Donald Duck. I love Donald! (No no, not love in that way! I'm talking about magazines.)

15. I'm generally kind and patient, but with one exception. I've got bad road rage sometimes.

1. I'm a penny pincher. No, seriously, I'm probably the most money conscious twenty-something female you'll ever meet.
2. My first tattoo was a birthday present from my mother to me for my eighteenth. (She's so awesome.)
3. The most comfortable shirt I own is an old Marlboro shirt that has a faded picture of cowboy boots on the back, is a few sizes too big and is riddled with holes. (And keep in mind, I don't smoke. )
4. I'd LOVE to be an astronomer or a botanist one day but I don't think I'm good enough at science to swing it.
5. I was born on the same day Pluto was discovered, only sixty one years later.
6. My dream is to build my own life at the beach.
7. I bought and read the Iliad during high school because I thought it was unfair that the Odyssey was required reading for English 9 but the Iliad wasn't. (Yes, I am a nerd; you wondered before but now I've confirmed it for you.)
8. While every other girl in my Freshman English class was oo-ing and ah-ing over Romeo and Juliet, all I could think was that it was the raunchiest and most impulsive thing I'd ever read, fancy ye-old English terms be damned.
9. I think Sunshine is one of the best movies to come out in the last decade- if not the best.
10. I don't think there's anything quite like watching an old black and white movie on a slow afternoon - even better if it's an old monster flick.

1. I have panic and anxiety disorder.
2. Only been in one relationship in my lifetime and that was almost 6 years ago.
3. I probably have a porn addiction.
4. I had severe anorexia in highschool leaving me at 100 lbs at the height of 5'8, since then I've gained all my weight back. I still struggle with it, but I have it under control for the most part.
5. I play guitar, sing, write my own music and used to be in a band. I still write songs and play solo.
6. My favorite time of the year is Halloween.
7. Harry Potter is another obsession of mine.

9. I've been to just about every state, Mexico, and Canada and have yet to make it "across the pond"

But French is way prettier, though I do prefer Spanish.

Also, I've noticed there's a higher concentration of females and homosexuals as fans of Resident Evil--almost more so than any other game series, especially gory ones. I wonder why that is... Is it because there are so many females as playable characters in RE? RE has always seemed 50-50 in that regard.
