Resident Evil 6 If Jill is'nt in RE 6? where do you think is she?

Jill is pregnant with Chris' kid. That would explain why she aint fighting and would go deeper into the married rumour.

I love this idea, but this is what I think happened.

Chris saves Jill in RE5, then he is off on missions separated from Jill as she recovers and takes another position at HQ. After the incident where Chris suffers from memory loss, and then disappears, Jill is on her own missions to find him. Two teams are sent out. One with Jill, the other Pierce. A game will be released later on of Jill on separate Missions and we get to see her stronger and with crazy moves by the permanent effects of the P-30. She isn’t the one to find Chris but continues with her missions anyways. they reunite later on, which reveals they are married. and decide to retire and have children!

I can only hope this happens, but I’m going to be shocked or end up in a corner crying when I finally get my hands on the game.

It has been stated that Jill and Claire are now retired...Well...Do guys know what would make the PERFECT RE6 ending...

Chris dies, and it's his funeral, like a LOT of people have talked about on here so far...It shows a LOT of the old RE heroes and current RE heroes at his funeral...And when it's over, Jill tells the head-honcho of the BSAA that she's retired. She's lost her best friend, and her beautiful brunette hair, and she won't loose anything else. Granted, I'm kidding about the hair joke, but you get my point...It gives Jill AND Chris closure...

yes! and on the side of the venue there will be a small earn labeled: *Wesker* and a creepy hand will rise above the ash. everyone will be too busy weeping to notice, but Piers looks over slowly and sees the hand....he then braces himself and clenches his fist. shortly after, drunken Barry shoves the cake down his mouth and hurries over to the earn...he takes his foot and stomps wesker's hand to the ground!...takes a breath, then dies of a heart attack

i really don't think they'd let jill and claire just retire off screen with no proper ending. if they do, they're going to get a LOT of backlash. even moreso than the overwhelming amount they've had from them simply not being in 6.

Chris and Jill have been on and off partners for 15 years. they have a ton of history together. even in RE6, sheva was just there because jill was "dead". in pretty much every RE game, if they're not paired together, they're looking for each other. it really hits us out of the left field that piers is here as his new partner, chris is a depressed wreck, and there's no mention of jill. i wonder if there is more to the story of chris's depression than just him losing his men.

and i think if jill was at home preggers with his kid, he wouldn't be so wreckless, depressed, angry, and careless of his own well-being.

so here's an idea: what if jill left him? what if they did settle down after RE5, and they just didn't work out? although we haven't really seen it in game outside of RE6 - chris is supposed to be a moody hothead. maybe she just couldn't handle him and needed a break? jill sacrificed her life for chris in RE5, so to see him so beside himself and she's not there is pretty weird, whether you "ship" them or not.

anyway, it's an idea. i may be wrong and she's simply off doing something else, but i really hope they wouldn't kill or retire either jill or claire offscreen. that's just... ****ty. :/ out of all 3 scenarios, it seems we've seen the least of chris's, so i have a feeling there's more to it than we know. we'll see though!!

though!!

Well, I agree with you that Jill and Chis have been partners for 15 years now and due to their history of constantly saving each other, it is indeed kind of strange that Jill isn't looking for him.

BUT first of all, what you all underestimate is the fact that he is not only suffering a stupid loss of his comrades but a main head trauma, that coused a memory loss of his whole identity and life, that lasts now over 6 months. Even the fact that he was not to be found in that time, implies that he was wandering around or even hiding from his past which he does not remember or remembers in only fearsome flashbacks. this behaviour has a real name: its called Fugue state

to explain Chris' psychologic state from my point of view to you all :
just emagine yourself waking in a litterally war zone, in a city full of zombies having no idear of your own identity, because before you got this head trauma you saw good friends/ comrades or soldiers, you even personally trained, beeing turned into zombies. add to this the fact that you are their Captain and your are responsable for your Team and so responsable for the death of your men. So beeing guilty for someones death is not really a thing you are proud of.
This traumatic event is the second reason for his memory loss, due to the fact that your brain holds back the memories because it can't bear the emotional stress, the guilt and the fear you had to experience during the incident.
And would you people really want to remember a life that scares the hell out of you?

All this is clearly shown in Chris' Demo cutscene, cause everytime Priers triggers flashbacks of his memories he truly suffers pain and fear and behaves totally distressed after it and asks again who Piers really is. Also Piers says something like "you can't run from your past, Chris..." which proves my assumption about him wandering around.
According to the trailers, in which we can see him remember the "bitch" that infacted his men, i would say that he will regain his memory during the china mission. and maybe we will see in these cutscenes some flashbacks of his personal life aswell.

So when i think about Jill(age: 37-38) an Claire (age:35-36) not beeing in RE6, i noticed something wierd being said by the capcom team in the video.
They said clearly, that sherry is kind of going to talk with chris about his sister an the racoon city incident, so that she will be mentioned in the game, and that she is propably living a peacefull life somewhere.
When it came to Jill they first of all said, that she has a good reason for retreating from the battlefield. Right after that they smile and justify that statement in saying that she does propably not want to fight anymore after beeing held prisoner by Wesker.
So ^^ one thing about that, the fact that they say something about her implies that she will be mentioned. otherwise they would have simply answered something like "we don't know what happened to her."
The fact that she has a good reason to retreat from battle can have another obvious reason. What if she really bacame a mother? im mean when she escaped from afrika she was about 33 years old, the best time for having children.
That would explain her retreatment from battle, why chris had to team up with Piers, and why Jill was not looking for him.
Plus the fact that capcom introduced Jake, Weskers son, to us shows Capcoms intention to take the battle against Evil to the next generation. So what would be more logic than to introduce also Jills and maybe Chris' Child?

so thats it from me.
comments please!^^
and greatings from germany!^^ who finds mistakes, is allowed to ceep them!^^

I totally Agree with you! There has to be something more to the story to figure out what happened to Chris and Jill. I don't think though they wouldnt end up working out though. They both have been through some heavy ****, and i bet they can make it through anything.

I think Capcom is going to surprise us all though, or leave us out of the loop so they can develope more games/stories to keep us on thwier hook for more.

He's a volotile MESS from what we know so far...Plus, he's been in the game for YEARS...A heroic death is MUCH more Chris' style than simple retirement...We don't need him in EVERY game...It's not called "Resident Chris" and he's been in nearly EVERY game so far...It's time we close the curtains on Mr. Redfield. He had a good run, but he's served his time. And that's the PERFECT end to an RE game, and would explain Jill's retirement...It also leaves the hole to be filled with Chris..

I still dont know about that...I mean If Chris and Jill are gone, then who else can we control and play in the RE world with? You think that this new character Peirce will be a new main Capcom player?

I always thought that Resident Evil was pretty epic like final fantasy, somewhat never ending. And Final Fantasy characters are always coming back in every other game. like sid lol

Come on now, really? Chris and Jill are not getting married nor do they have those kind of feeling towards each other. They are just friends, partners in war. Why can't people accept this.
.

Ever hear of the expression "tragedy bonds people together"? I think it's a fair assumption to make that the missions Jill and Chris have been on exceed the typical psychological anguish of most other militaristic scenarios. Also, they've been partners for a little over ten years so chances are nobody knows them as well as they know eachother. On top of that, Jill pretty much died for Chris in Lost in Nightmares. Yeah sure, you can easily argue that any kind of special forces partners would do that for one another, BUT, when Chris was finally reunited with Jill he cradled her in his arms with his eyes glued to hers. Personally I felt that that scene was more affection and emotion rather than a happy reuniting moment. Even the sequence right after when Chris leaves Jill to go chase Wesker, Chris seems a little hesitant and weary and Sheva asks him if he's alright. The only reason why I can think Chris was hesitant to continue after Wesker was because he absolutely did not want to leave Jill's side. Could that be because Chris finally came to the realization Jill is more than just his partner? Very possible if you ask me.

On topic:
I THINK that Jill is probably behind a desk in the BSAA HQ pulling strings and whatnot.

I WANT her to be in the home she shares with Chris ready to burst with a new baby while Claire acts as her tending nurse. Let's face it, the offspring of Jill and Chris would be one bad-ass mother-f**ka. Who isn't gonna want to play as that kid in future games?!

EDIT: I wouldn't mind if Chris sacrifices himself, as long as Jake joins him and helps, and if Jill is pregnant. As long as Chris has some kind of living legacy I'll be alright with him out of series.
